Founded in September 2021, we are an online destination that offers a selection of high-quality and thumb-stopping fashion brands and exclusive MADE IN ITALY labels, supported with video-driven, confidence-inducing styling advice.
Location: New York or Los Angeles (Remote)
As Director of In-House Creators & Influencer Marketing you will:
- Develop and execute our host and influencer marketing strategy, which is one of the most important pillars of the VIAVIA business model
- Lead the full lifecycle of influencer and host relationships from workforce planning, scouting, contract negotiation, training, and management
- Activate new growth channels from beginning to end, including influencer partnerships and other mechanisms
- Test and identify format- and channel-specific strategies for in-house talent
- Frame campaign strategies and manage the brand’s relationship with influencers, including negotiating competitive rates and managing the contracting process
- Measure success of social media activations through KPIs and forecasting
- Represent VIAVIA and client brands to external partners
- Work closely with the rest of the Brand Partnerships, Merchandising, Operations, and executive teams
Your Experience and Skills include:
- 6+ years in marketing with 4 years working directly in influencer marketing
- Ability to identify celebrities and influencers of varying levels (micro, mid and macro) who could be strong partners for specific campaigns and activations
- Strong understanding of popular social platforms (TikTok, Snap, Instagram, Youtube, etc) and emerging platforms
- Proven success in working with diverse, fast-paced teams
- Experience managing complex projects and an ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to get things done
- Ability to work cross-functionally and thoughtfully influence. Able to develop strong relationships both internally and externally
- Bonus points if you can fluently communicate in Italian or Chinese
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; can patiently and effectively communicate with a diverse and multicultural group of peers across time zones and continents
- Nimble, scrappy and adaptable. Can roll with the punches and thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
- A positive, can-do attitude. You’re not deterred by minor setbacks and are able to swiftly overcome ambiguity
- Will consistently cultivate a culture of inclusion where all team members feel a sense of belonging and can bring their authentic selves to work
- You believe that feedback is a gift; you can receive and grow from feedback, and you’re comfortable sharing thoughtful feedback to others as needed
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive compensation and equity. For applicants in the US, the salary range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000
