THE ROLE

The role of Brand Partnerships VP/SVP at Whalar is a creative collaborator with extensive relationships at relevant brands and is responsible for helping to drive new business by conceptualizing innovative and impactful influencer marketing campaigns.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of being a self-starter, solution oriented strategic and critical thinker who is trusted by their brand partners, respected by their peers and has experience building and growing an extensive book of business. They will thrive in a fast paced environment, be motivated by achieving sustainable growth, driven by a desire to make an impact and excited to bring all that Whalar has to offer to their brand contacts.

We are looking for somebody with 15+ years experience with detailed knowledge of the CPG industry. Knowledge of and relationships with Creators & Influencers is preferred but not a requirement.

This role will report into the CRO.

Core Roles & Responsibilities

  • Share the Whalar story and identify how our unique capabilities can help brands achieve their business and advertising goals
  • Be a spokesperson for Whalar
  • Source meaningful new business opportunities
  • Generate significant RFP opportunities
  • Close significant new business
  • Nurture and grow client relationships
  • Work closely with the Business Development Team on delivering compelling, results driven RFPs
  • Work closely with the Client Services Team to ensure flawless campaign execution
  • Stay on top of industry news and trends, especially for or social media partner
  • First class presentation and storytelling skills
