Communications Strategist
MC Brand Communications (“MCBC”) is a BIPOC-owned, female-led boutique marketing communications agency based in Los Angeles. Our leadership took their years of big agency experience and transformed them into a fun and energetic shop built on inclusivity, authenticity and a driving need to provide outstanding client service and results. We are looking for a Communications Strategist to join our team.
This person will join a team that is growing quickly and establishing a unique company culture. We’re crafting a creative, intentional team that combines professional corporate communications work with consumer lifestyle, or what we call WORK and PLAY. This is a team of integrated communications and marketing experts who cater to entrepreneurs, start-ups and the 24/7 grinders, as well as the biggest names in business.
We are looking for the following:

- Someone who brings humanity to the role – we’re not ready to let robots take our jobs . . . yet. Unless it is the robot from the Jetsons. She was great.
The ideal candidate will have most of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 3+ years PR/marketing experience, preferably in the advertising/marketing, CPG, esports & gaming, entertainment industry or influencer marketing, web3 and Creator Economy.
- Strong media relations experience is a must.
- Agency experience preferred.
- Ravenous appetite for pop culture.
- Willingness and ability to tackle both B2B and B2C communication.
- Extensive knowledge of public relations strategies and protocols in theory and in practice.
- Familiarity with digital marketing analysis tools and media databases including Muckrack and/or Cision.
- Advanced social media marketing skills.
- Willingness to stay on top of the latest marketing trends and developments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Salary range:
· Starting at $60K with room to grow depending on experience.
