POSITION: VP, B2C E-commerce

Responsibilites

The VP, B2C E-Commerce will develop and launch the direct-to-consumer sales for our leading protein division and spearhead the growth of the business segment.Responsibilities include building the brand, positioning the company as the leader in the direct-to-consumer protein market, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as corporate subject matter expert on direct-to-consumer protein sales.
  • Full P&L responsibility for ecommerce protein sales.
  • Determine correct allocation of budget to optimize marketing channels and maximize return on investment. Channels of investment include but are not limited to print, SEO, SEM, digital advertising, social media, influencer marketing, CRM, and more.
  • Direct and coordinate promotion of products, develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in the industry.
  • Drive innovation through testing new ways to profitably reach, acquire and retain customers, exponentially increasing the customer database, as well as customer frequency and loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and B2B ecommerce teams towards the plan execution.
  • Participate in development of annual business plans for Protein business.
  • Work with corporate purchasing organization to develop processes for inventory control, procurement, and distribution of product.
  • Oversee the Customer Service team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experience along every touchpoint of the customer journey.
  • Lead initiatives to determine current state of ecommerce sales, identify opportunities for process improvements, and lead execution of projects.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business, Finance, Marketing, Ecommerce, Digital Media or related field
  • Strong digital advertising skills ( success in digital activities by channel with proven financial results (SEO, SEM, influencers etc.)
  • Proven success in increasing customer retention and frequency through programs including gift cards, automatic replenishment, CRM (print and/or digital) and more
  • Role in traditional marketing/ brand building, as well as experience in leading customer service teams and owning the forecast is also desirable
  • 5-10 years of directly related food marketing required, ideally protein
  • 10+ years of progressive management experience required
    • 3-5 years in Executive role is preferred
  • Proven track record of success in running a business and managing a P&L
  • Leadership aptitude for building teams and earning their confidence
  • Prior experience in growing to a multimillion-dollar business within a cross-functional business team environment
  • Comfortable in a large entrepreneurial company that is in a “build mode” to support future growth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
