Summary
Genesys is looking for a Consultant Liaison Program Senior Specialist/Manager to focus on expanding and strengthening Genesys’ Consultant Relations program with consultants who can influence customer buying decisions. Consultants are retained and compensated by Genesys customers and prospects for their experience and expertise. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role engaging consultants to help showcase both Genesys’ technical innovation, and the value of are creating empathetic and personalized experiences at scale across marketing, sales and service.
The Consultant Relations professional who joins our team will help drive a best-in-class program that includes building trust with our consultant community through consistent and transparent communications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Influencer Relations best practices and be able to communicate effectively with consultants about the company’s Experience as a Service vision, and how our solutions and partners create value for our customers. Candidates should be effective in articulating and delivering program outcomes and operate with a growth mindset. The Manager/Sr. Specialist will report to the Senior Director, Analyst Relations / Consultant Relations as part of an Influencer Marketing team that engages industry analysts, independent influencers, and consultants to create favorable third-party perceptions that accelerate Genesys’ success.
Key responsibilities:
- Proactively establish, maintain, and grow relationships with key independent consultants, and effectively communicate company news and points of view to this external audience
- Identify new consultants to engage in the program, this includes consultants in the CX space as well as expansion into new markets to support the overall company vision and strategy
- Track and measure briefing engagement and consultant related pipeline
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Product Management, Product Marketing, Solution Consulting, Customer Advocacy, Thought Leadership and PR to support Genesys business objectives
- Contribute to consultant program educational content including monthly newsletters, consultant member portal content, as well as podcast and webinar planning
- Increase consultant awareness by planning and facilitating consultant events including briefings, webinars, tradeshows, and conferences
- Advocate consultant needs/issues cross-departmentally; manage account escalations
- Communicate the program value to key regional and cross functional stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 3-5+ years' experience in influencer relations or related experience in product marketing, strategic communications, enterprise software sales, or public relations
- Knowledge of the independent consultant community and passion for enterprise influencers
- Understanding of sales environments, sales process and buyer journeys
- Persuasive communication skills and a desire to influence at all levels
- Knowledge of cloud customer experience, and contact center and employee engagement solutions
- Strategies for working collaboratively and managing cross-functional initiatives
- Relationship builder – proactive, respectful; values input and stimulates candid dialogue, positive attitude, sense of humor, relentless curiosity (and inherently interested in translating insights into usable content).
- Self-motivated and able to execute in a fast-growth environment.
- BA/BS degree
