The Formula Fig Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the overall marketing function in meeting goals & objectives to support the company’s success in meeting our mission of empowering great skin confidence for all our guests.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will assist the development and implementation of the company’s marketing + brand strategy. You are comfortable working in a start-up environment, juggling multiple projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across Canada / US.

LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Day to day this role may draft reports, create or coordinate content, track results, build relationships with teams + key stakeholders, and otherwise support and keep on track all marketing strategies.

You will assist in executing and analyzing a marketing strategy across multiple platforms; email/SMS, social, Fig Bar, etc.. You are someone that has an open mind, keen to do things differently, whilst thinking critically and strategically about projects. You are consistent in execution.

MARKETING
Create + implement processes + procedures for content creation + scheduling to ensure the team is effectively creating fresh, on-brand, + engaging content that meets deadlines and performs well
Write marketing copy across all channels which aligns with our brand TOV + captures our value proposition
Collaborate + coordinate with the creative team, internal + external photographers to produce engaging content that is consistent with our TOV and brand guidelines, whilst also aligning with our community KPIs
Oversee Influencer Marketing to implement a strategy + procedures for influencer gifting
Identify key partnership opportunities, execute influencer outreach, and track results of outreach efforts

DATA + REPORTS
Measure + analyze marketing performance across channels with the support of Guest + Finance., Report on statistics, adjust activities to grow the audience + encourage engagement/conversions
Research and analyze customer data like needs, satisfaction, etc.
Present metrics and progress to the senior leadership team
Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends
Prepare reports, presentations, briefs and press materials
Supporting the optimization of marketing channels and ROI

MARKETING PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Manage + direct complete project lifecycle from planning to execution
Drive direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success
Support the maintenance and development of internal tools

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

7 + years in at least one of these areas of journalism, marketing, business marketing, communications, or public relations
Project management experience
Strong communication + presentation skills.With the ability to agilely communicate across business units
Proficient + passionate about short form copywriting, with the ability to adapt to the Fig tone of voice.
Experience with research using data analytics software. Familiarity with Later, Dropbox, google or other social scheduling and analytics platforms is preferred.
Familiarity with key performance metrics + how to apply them to a marketing strategy
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
Experience working with budgets and forecasting
The ability to develop and maintain positive relationships externally + internally
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms
A motivated and outgoing personality
