Director of Influencer Marketing - NY

This position is full time and is only available in New York.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and execute influencer/talent strategies as a part of an integrated 360 communications plan for the agency’s consumer facing clients
- Create and manage program timelines to ensure deliverables are on track, while proactively troubleshooting any potential issues
- Lead the development of agency’s and client-specific measurement standards, KPIs and benchmarking to ensure influencer programs are optimized for performance
- Serve as key client contact for multiple project work streams
- Negotiate influencer contracts
- Oversee management of internal influencer database
- Establish relationships with agents, influencers/creators and industry experts
- Develop clear content briefs to guide influencers/talent to create optimal content while finding the delicate balance between client’s needs and influencer’s authentic voice
- Create campaign wrap reports, inclusive of key learnings, analytics and recommendations
- Maintain finger on the pulse of latest social media tools, events, best practices and related news in the digital space
- Create and balance client and program budgets
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team
Requirements
- 7-8 years of experience
- Extensive expertise in social media platforms, user behaviors and platform features
- Deep knowledge of the influencer space and both paid and organic content on social platforms (e.g. content themes, verticals, best practices, KPIs, benchmarks etc.)
- Familiarity with sponsored post features, tools and mechanics for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Twitter
- Proficiency of how paid, earned and owned channels work together
- Established relationships with key influencers, agents, managers etc.
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable translating data into easily actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong grasp on culture, with a keen understanding of what is relevant and an eye for upcoming trends.
- Comfortability managing clients from different business functions
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with precise attention to detail
- Ability to deliver an impactful and compelling presentation
- Passion for digital and excitement to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment
- Extremely self-motivated, organized and reliable
