Core Responsibilities And Tasks
- PR Marketing Amplification Act as the Public Relations Agency lead, to brief, build, and execute annual proactive PR marketing efforts that both support key Marketing Business Initiatives, as well as amplify on-going brand and campaign activities.
- MarCom Consumer Content Lead Act as department liaison for all consumer facing content, focused on driving consistency in message regardless of touchpoint, as well as assisting in the development and coordination of cross functional teams (Digital Engagement Team, ICX/E-Commerce Team, and Creative Team)
- In collaboration with the digital team and other subject matter experts, leverage site analytics to optimize the consumer journey on owned properties (US, Canada, Spanish Language and Puerto Rico).
- Ensure all North America website retail content is up to date and accurate
- Serve as project manager for development of new product pages, landing pages and microsites
- Collaborate with retail marketing communications and engagement teams to identify content for social, email and custom media integrations. As needed attend video or photography shoots.
- Influencer Strategy Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns to drive awareness and consideration for The Americas Group brand and retail stores.

- Manage and distribute Master Retail Calendar, Year At A Glance and Monthly Store Calendar
- Develop process, manage day-to-day and distribute reporting of all competitive activity for DIY and Pro segments
- Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed
- Manage retail public relations and promotions budget tracker
- All other duties and projects as assigned
Position Requirements
FORMAL EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years content management and public relations experience, including working knowledge of digital media and marketing, including website content knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to turn information into a newsworthy story (ex identify story angle for new product launches)
- Strong communication skills, ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing
- Experience managing budgets
- Agency management
- Ability to prioritize workload based on department and agency capacity
