Manager, Influencer Relations (REMOTE)

About the role:

As the Manager, Influencer Relations, you will be responsible for business development through outreach and networking, relying on your existing connections as well as growing them and building thoughtful strategies around marketing initiatives across up to 6 brands.

Sample Responsibilities:

  • Identify and understand how to utilize influencers for both paid and earned opportunities for clients
  • Manage and execute digital media influencer marketing campaigns from signed SOW to post-campaign reporting
  • Lead communication on influencer campaigns ensuring campaign and messaging are executed correctly and on time, and optimizing strategy when necessary
  • Create and execute project campaign timelines and schedules and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of campaign goals
  • Help with creative ideas, strategy, and research in response to active pitches and proposals involving Influencers
  • Use data and knowledge of space to identify influencers for campaigns, while having a deep understanding of what a brand wants when being represented
  • Build, grow and mentor relationships with influencers with the end goal of transitioning them to Ambassador-level partners
  • Initiate creative brainstorms with cross functional teams to help develop and influence campaigns to inspire engagement and ultimately revenue growth
  • Responsible for multiple proposals at the same time across up to 6 brands
  • Negotiate pricing and other campaign details
  • Responsible for communicating the brand partnerships to the Creative Director and founders
  • Work with KPIs
  • Maintain communication throughout campaign execution by participating in key account moments, including internal kick-offs, presentations and status calls, and final report presentations
  • Some campaign execution may be necessary with production and experiential components
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and pivot based on ongoing performance analysis, industry trends, platform innovations, or client needs
  • Prepare reports and analyze performance relative to campaign objectives and provide optimization recommendations
  • Guide junior team members while assisting the CD and founders on larger pitches and proposals

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a creative, digital, advertising, public relations or marketing environment
  • Proven track record of growing business in different revenue streams and verticals
  • Experience and education in Digital Marketing and strong knowledge of the digital and influencer marketing space
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Digital sales expert with strong persuasive skills
  • Advanced social skills, a team player and well-organized
  • Independent, driven, creative, strategic and responsible
