Director, Web3 Strategy
Influential, is looking for a Director, Web3 Strategy to lead, develop and execute Web3 strategies across Influential’s expansive roster of clients. Your thought leadership, subject matter expertise and recommendations will be paramount for both internal and external education and communication. This role will support the department head to roadmap and support company-wide initiatives.

In general, on a typical day you will:
- Serve as the subject matter expert of Web3, Crypto, NFTs and Avatars. You will be at the forefront of developing solutions for Influential’s clients as the space evolves.
- Lead the development of Influential’s Web3 partnership & solutions strategy.
- Collaborate with the Innovation Center of Excellence to ensure all milestones & measures of success are in line with company goals and resources.
- Maintain a proactive pulse on the Web3 ecosystem to ensure Influential capabilities remain best-in-class and agnostic to client needs.
- Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, third-party vendors, agencies and organizations.
- Act as the central point of contact, providing regular status reports, regularly disseminating information to key stakeholders, seeking solutions, and ensuring client expectations are always met.
- Own end-to-end process for execution. Partner with necessary internal stakeholders to develop detailed process documents for operational team members to reference.
- Create, present, and provide briefs to internal stakeholders on initiatives and progress to ensure the completion of cross-functional tasks when taking ownership of deliverables.
- Present/communicate progress and outcome of projects to clients and determine best next steps.
- Lead the development of internal training materials and external sales collateral in partnership with the Innovation Center of Excellence and Design Team.
- Maintain and update a status document with requested, pending and completed deliverables.
- Regularly attend client meetings with Sales Lead(s) as necessary to present thought leadership, strategic direction, manage feedback, and translate Web3 goals to tangible media deliverables.
- Partner with Department Leads to expand virtual influencer relationships, craft innovative solutions, create FTM activations and capabilities via strategic partnerships.
Being a Director, Web3 Strategy requires:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of agency or marketing experience
- Experience and extensive understanding of blockchain as a consumer product, virtual influencers, NFT culture and community, Web3 and the metaverse, banking, treasury services, and international payments.
- Creative storyteller, with a proven track record of successfully launching and growing new business solutions and activations for Web3
- Business-growth mindset
- Proven ability to successfully work with and guide senior-level clients and internal portfolio teams
- Self-motivated and driven, enthusiastic about the digital space and multi-channel marketing
- Solid understanding of media buying and channel allocation best practices
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate and apply strategic thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with external and internal clients
- Knowledgeable of all major social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and innovations in the social and Web3 realm
- Thrives within a dynamic and evolving environment, competent at generating process and structure where none exists
