Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent pratical experience.
- 6 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, Public Relations, or content development.
- Experience managing partners to develop content and creative work.
- Experience in social media, influencer marketing, or content partnerships/development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the entertainment industry, sport industry, or other culturally oriented fields.
- Experience in consumer technology in multinational companies or creative agencies.
- Experience in film/video production.
- Experience with Google products and technology.
- Ability to drive consensus across global and/or cross-functional teams.

As part of the Platforms and Ecosystems Brand Team, we are searching for the best way for our brands to resonate in culture and engage with their audiences beyond traditional media. We also encourage audiences to interpret our brands. We empower them to speak about us in ways that are authentic, resonant, and ultimately, impactful to our business. This role consists in leading our social, editorial, and influencer efforts in close collaboration with the larger Chrome Marketing team to contribute to Chrome business priorities.
As the Social Marketing Manager for Chrome and Chromebook, you will report to the Brand Engagement Lead, define how to translate Chrome and Chromebook business priorities, Chrome and Chromebook brand platforms into global social content strategies, and influencer campaigns. As part of the Brand team, you will partner with the Brand Managers to extend brand campaigns to content and social strategies. You will also define guidelines for regions and countries to build content and social strategies that are both locally relevant and globally consistent. In this role, you will fully manage and define partnerships with our social media agency, digital content, and influencer partners. Lastly, you will partner with product marketing to connect our work to key business partners and audiences.

Responsibilities
- Develop Chrome and Chromebook social strategy across owned and operated editorial, social media, and influencer marketing.
- Execute social concepts and programs to drive cultural relevance and conversation in market.
- Manage internal and external processes and stakeholders for efficient creative output.
- Perform measurement and optimization plans and processes to determine efficacy alongside Chrome and Chromebook brand, product marketers, and other cross-functional partners.
- Develop and execute influencer campaigns in collaboration with Chrome and Chromebook brand campaigns and partnerships.
