Role

The VP of marketing is a strategic, high impact leadership role responsible for the overall development and management of the Marketing Team. Reporting to the CRO, this is a highly visible role which will help lead our high growth company to a $B+ and beyond! Your objective is to drive awareness and growth of Parsable across our key segments. This is a team leadership role for experienced Marketers who understand B2B enterprise SaaS, sales and product. The ideal candidate has leadership experience while understanding first-hand how to analyze and under key market segments, elicit customer insights, identify new areas of opportunity and develop innovative strategies for increased market penetration and expansion. Demand generation and directing the marketing team appropriately to increase ‘top of the funnel’ activities collaborating with sales will be a key requirement.

Cross-functional engagement is a necessity as you will help the marketing team define and communicate the requirements of our target markets across stakeholders in Sales, Product, Channels, Customer Success and Engineering. This person will continue to build and drive the scale of our marketing organization to support Parsable’s growth to $100M+ in ARR with a Product Led Growth (PLG) model while evolving and enhancing our story to share our vision for Connected Workers. Strategic action, in the shape of new product launches, marketing campaigns, sales and partner enablement programs that benefit our customers, partners and business. This role is remote ideally located in the following locations: AZ, CA, CT, DC, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, IL, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, British Columbia or Ontario.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage & mentor Brand, Demand Gen, and Product teams into a world-class marketing organization that is inspired to achieve marketing & company goals
  • Build a strategic marketing plan with innovative campaigns that are driven by performance and influencer marketing, creative online efforts, brand & direct marketing, as well as community building
  • Aligning our organization around customer centricity, using data and analytics to deliver impactful experiences
  • Develop a comprehensive cross-platform digital engagement strategy that inspires excitement, loyalty and ultimately drives significant new customer and revenue growth
  • Partnering closely with Product and Sales leadership to enhance and align on growth targets

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Marketing product marketing experience, 3+ years as a people manager
  • Bachelor’s degree ideally in Marketing/Business Administration/Engineering
  • Data & results-driven leader with a successful track record of driving global marketing teams at scale
  • Experienced in leading SaaS demand generation activities and ability to make adjustments as needed to increase Top of Funnel
  • Experience in B2B, enterprise software or SaaS, with readiness to share and implement best practices on day one
  • Previous experience in Product Led Growth.(PLG) sales motions is ideal
  • Must be willing to collaborate across sales and marketing with common purpose
  • Proven leadership skills, with ability to coach and mentor direct reports and others
  • Strong interest in representing the voice of the customer to the company and launch process.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including preparation and delivery of presentation
  • Experience in or serving CPG, manufacturing or supply chain industries a plus
