We’re a fast growth, mission-oriented company (with awesome benefits), and we’re looking for an amazing, full-time Social Media Ads Specialist to join our high-performance team. POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a full-time, salaried role in our Marketing Department, reporting to our Marketing Director. For this remote role, you’ll need to have the ability to work from home 5 days a week. Typical hours for this role are 7am -4pm, Monday-Friday PT. But this position is more about accomplishing specific outcomes with a high level of communication than adhering to a clock. And though our team highly prioritizes margin a few times per year, on occasion, there may be a need to work additional hours on evenings and weekends during a launch or other events throughout the year.

The mission of the Ads Specialist is to generate traffic, leads, and sales so that we can reach our revenue and profitability goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Social Media Ads Specialist will own the planning, implementation, management, optimization, analysis, and reporting of all our paid media channels, such as:

  • Facebook Ads (Meta Ads)
  • Youtube Ads
  • Google Ads
  • Instagram Ads
  • Pinterest Ads
  • TikTok Ads
  • Amazon Ads (Book)
  • Facebook Group Ads
  • LinkedIn Ads
  • Reddit Ads
  • Podcast Sponsorships
  • Magazine Ads
  • Print Ads
  • List Buying (When Applicable)
  • And any future media buying channels

PROFICIENCIES

  • Ad Management Skills: The Social Media Ads Specialist will need to track things like traffic, leads, sales, impressions, clicks, visitors, video views, downloads, conversions, revenue, CPA, ROI, and ROAS. You will also need a deep understanding of split testing, bidding strategies, audience segmentation, conversion tracking, budget management, deliverables, KPI’s, etc.
  • Analytical Skills: The Ads Specialist will need to conduct regular analysis to identify opportunities to improve performance within campaigns.
  • Research Skills: The Ads Specialist will need to stay up-to-date on all of the latest digital media trends, policies, and forecasts by conducting regular research.
  • Anticipating Needs: The Ads Specialist will need to proactively recommend new paid media channels, beta testing strategies, and ad budget recommendations. You will also need to provide views on emerging technologies and digital marketing opportunities.
  • Team Player: The Ads Specialist will need to work closely with our Graphic Designer and Copywriter to create and optimize unforgettable ads. You will also need to collaborate with other teams to drive creative testing activities, cross-channel performance, audience segmentation, market research, competitive analyses, project management, and customer experience. The ideal candidate thrives in this fast-paced environment, maintaining a can-do spirit and not complaining, making excuses, or gossiping.
  • Content Creation: The Ads Specialist will create two types of content for the company. First, you will conduct a live, one-hour Q+A Ads Coaching call every week with our Members via Zoom. And second, you will create quick, weekly tutorials for our show - which we will post to marketing channels like YouTube, Podcast, and our Blog.
  • Camera-Readiness: The Ads Specialist will be on camera at least twice a week. So you must be an excellent oral communicator and have a dedicated workspace that’s camera-ready at all times.
  • Quality Communication: The Ads Specialist will need to maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize media effectiveness and assist in negotiating optimal rates and placements on behalf of the company. You will also need to keep our teams updated on campaign and account-level performance via regular and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Affinity for Technology: Our Ads Specialist will be a technologically savvy Mac user and will not be intimidated by learning new technology. Proficiency in the following tech platforms is ideal: Active Campaign, SamCart, Stripe, Slack, Zoom, Google Suite, Loom, and Asana.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Google Ads Certification required
  • Facebook Ads Certification required
  • Google Analytics Certification preferred

Experience and Values:

  • 3+ years of experience managing results-driven media campaigns at a digital product company or agency.
  • A proven track record of ROI on PPC, Paid Social, YouTube, Display and Retargeting Ads.
  • 3+ years of sales-focused, web copywriting, and/or direct response copywriting experience.
  • The ability to develop selling angles that support our high-level marketing strategy.
  • Mastery of email marketing best practices.
  • Experience writing and developing high-converting sales pages and video and webinar scripts.
  • Enthusiasm for details, organization, and deadlines.
  • The ability to write, collaborate and adapt to strategy changes quickly.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, virtual environment is preferred.
