Adecco Creative and Marketing is searching for a Social Media Coordinator to assist a beauty and nail company in the Calabases, CA area. As Social Media, Coordinator – Consumer Channels, you will be accountable for helping execute digital strategy and content objectives for consumer based initiatives across all of our social digital platforms. You will support community engagement, take note of social relevance of current trends as well as help advise on the current social climate.

This is a flexible hybrid structure in the Calabases, CA area. This is a full-time role with growth potential with a large company.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own local and global social dropbox for consumer platforms by uploading all social assets, copy and influencer content for all markets/distributors to localize on their own channels/accounts
  • Search for high performing UGC consumer - focused content to increase reach and engagement, supporting the need for additional unbranded content to support organic growth and stay relevant with current seasonal trends
  • Schedule content and manage community engagement across owned channels for consumer audiences. Sprinklr experience is a plus.
  • Engage with our community via community management to build brand love, manage social inboxes and respond to DMs.
  • Execute digital content series, from sourcing UGC to final execution In Story, current examples include Mani of the Month, Friday Faves, Colorscopes, and any additional series that get developed
  • Support digital team by creating content creation briefs, collecting payment information support, vendor payment and helping social reporting with decks and updating trackers
  • Monitor competitors on social media and make recommendations based on their content, staying on top of current trends and viral moments.
  • Support photoshoots for all digital content needs by ordering product and helping implement final execution of shoot. Manage final delivery of assets for cross-functional teams and global markets to use by uploading to global social dropbox.
  • Reach out to brands for consumer partnerships/collaborations with like-minded brands for exchange of followers via organic digital activations, giveaways and product sponsorship to increase brand awareness and reach.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related area of study
  • 2+ years of experience in social/influencer marketing(Beauty or CPG industry preferred)
  • Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter) their respective audiences and how each platform can be utilized in different scenarios
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional work environment
  • Experience in scheduling platform like Sprinklr or Curalate, Hootsuite, Iconosquare
  • Light experience in Photoshop, Google Sheet, Google Slides, DropBox
  • Analytical and data-driven, always taking learning to apply and impact future activations
  • Proven ability to think of social both as content channels and platforms with features/functionality to hack
  • Being available to advise on socially delicate conversations when social crises arise and monitor the social climate
