Social Media & Content Coordinator

Rhode is seeking a Social Media & Content Coordinator to join our team, working collaboratively across brand marketing and digital and providing general support across the company. The Social & Content Coordinator will be responsible for content creation across all owned channels driving brand awareness, engagement, affinity and growth.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to concept, execute and communicate brand stories and content that aligns with the brand’s ethos and narrative. The role requires someone to lead with a results-driven approach, a zest for new media and trends, while also possessing an eye for detail and appreciation for aesthetics; must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities include: the day-to-day management of all social channels, development of monthly strategies, content concept & production and copywriting.

Responsibilities:

● Scale brand awareness, engagement and community through social media channels, social platforms inclusive but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest

● Create actionable plans to grow our social media following across all platforms, with a focus on Instagram, including: creation of organic social calendar, execution of feed & story posts, management of social-listening and engagement with our social community

● Collaborate with brand and digital teams to implement a social strategy and posting cadence for social media channels ensuring goals are met and tracking KPIs to measure our performance and help guide future social strategies; iterating on approach weekly and monthly, as needed

● Ensure brand consistency for both look & feel and voice & copy on all social channels

● Support brand messaging and content touchpoints (primarily social, but may also include email, SMS, and site) with clear and concise copywriting

● Ideate and execute ways to build and expand video content for Instagram

● Maintain scheduled social content with consideration of featured caption, self-identifications and accessibility captions

● Manage any model, influencer, and content creator usage of content

● Support execution of our PR initiatives, including both paid and organic VIP opportunities and influencer marketing programs, that are aligned with our larger seasonal marketing strategies

● Research new platforms and stay abreast of new digital trends

● Partner with brand & digital teams to ensure content needs for paid media align with organic content creation, while utilizing best practices to drive revenue on paid channels

● Work closely with E-commerce Manager to utilize website analytics to guide future content development and optimization across owned channels

● Lead social creation and coverage at photoshoots and events (when applicable)

● Provide photoshoot support, including tracking product and sample coordination

● Manage and track all brand assets and content

This position will report directly to the VP, Brand & Creative.

Skills & Experience

● 2-3+ years of experience

● Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or a related field, editorial background is a plus

● Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at any given time

● Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

● Background and comfort with photography and video editing for social media (i.e. VSCO, reels, etc.)

● Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize insights and suggest recommended actions

● Strength in building and fostering relationship with key partners

● You are excellent at managing your time, and have the demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple workstreams at once with some direct oversight

● Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to adapt and move quickly in a changing environment
