Haldi is an early stage beauty company reimagining the way we discover and shop for skincare. Founded by two former Googlers, Haldi creates 100% clean, personalized routines for each person based on their skin, needs, preferences, and values.
Our unique approach
- Skin is personal. What works for one, may not work for another. Clean, Vegan, Gluten free, or “It’s all good”? We sift through hundreds of brands & products to find the right ones for each user.
- You don’t need to start from scratch: We don’t believe in tossing everything and starting from zero, it’s too wasteful. Haldi fills in the gaps in each user’s bathroom self.
- Half the battle is eliminating Ingredient Offenders: It's not just about finding the right products, but also eliminating what’s not working. We’re on a mission to catalog the world’s skincare products and their ingredients.
- Clean is not enough: Haldi recommendations are clean, but clean is not nearly enough. Something might be too strong for sensitive skin, or too aggravating for acneic skin. So we’ve built our Clean-For-You technology.
The role
This is the opportunity to join a fast-growing startup that is transforming the way people think about and shop for skincare. We’re looking for a Head of Brand Marketing who will be a foundational member on the Haldi team. You will marry storytelling with strong execution, and own the roadmap of key marketing initiatives across brand, content, partnerships and growth. The ideal candidate has a passion for brand building, ecommerce, and beauty.
The Opportunity
- Own Haldi’s marketing strategy & roadmap alongside the co-founders, and collaborate across internal teams and external media agencies as needed to execute it
- Drive brand awareness and grow Haldi’s audience through a deep understanding of the mission and vision, with an omnichannel strategy across owned & paid channels
- Develop campaigns that unfold Haldi’s unique stories around personalization, approach to clean beauty, ingredients, and sustainability
- Establish brand positioning and messaging through user research and insights. Refine language and messaging for our brand and platform
- Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end campaigns across social channels, partnerships, content marketing, and influencer marketing. Measure and optimize impact by tracking analytics.
About you
- 4+ years of experience owning marketing strategies. You can create a vision and strategy, establish goals and success metrics, develop a roadmap, and then bring it to life.
- Passion for the consumer. You are deeply connected to our mission to serve our customers and reimagine how we approach skincare.
- Self-starter. You have an ownership mindset. You can operate well on a small team with startup resources and a fast-paced environment. You are focused on making things happen.
- Creative thinker. You pair your storytelling skills with an eye for the visual. You have a pulse on trends in the broader landscape of content, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. You are comfortable thinking outside of the box and coming up with unique ideas to grow our customer base.
- Collaborative. You are a good listener, work well across teams, and are able to manage stakeholders.
- Effective verbal and written communicator. You have strong oral and written communication skills. You can craft a compelling narrative both orally and written.
