Overall Position Description

We are offering an amazing opportunity for a motivated, high-performing, experienced marketer to help expand and deepen our celebrity and influencer marketing strategy across events, activations and social content. Reporting to the Director, Celebrity and Influencer Partnerships, the Manager, Celebrity Partnerships & Influencer Marketing will be responsible for the development and execution of strategies and campaigns across online and offline channels that engage Gen Z influencers, celebrity talent and other powerful voices to strengthen the brand and raise the profile of the United Nations World Food Programme in the U.S.

General Responsibilities

  • Help build and drive a robust multi-tiered celebrity and influencer plan that creates brand awareness and engagement across earned and paid activities, online and offline, with celebrities and influencers.
  • Develop and manage activations and campaigns that attract Gen Z influencers and bring these partnerships to life.
  • Manage a portfolio of celebrities, digital influencers and VIPs, and support the Director in relationship management of U.N. World Food Programme Goodwill Ambassadors and World Food Program USA High-Level Supporters.
  • Support event production related to in-person activations, including high-level dinners, cultural event integration (awards shows, film festivals, etc.), ambassador designation events, celebrity partnership activations, and more.
  • Develop campaign and event plans, pitch decks, project management timelines, briefings and other documents as needed.
  • Update team tracking documents, Canva decks and excel grids, knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Branding, Communications, Marketing, or other relevant field with additional years of related work experience.
  • 4-5 years of progressively responsible professional experience working with celebrity partnerships, influencer marketing, or social media. Agency background a plus.
  • Ability to handle a large volume of work and meet strict deadlines.
  • A social media native. Familiarity or comfortable using social analytics tools.
  • An out-of-the-box thinker with experience developing successful and engaging celebrity or public figure-focused social media / digital campaigns.
  • Strategic thinker and planner; strong project management skills; highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong interest and or experience in humanitarian assistance, international development, or global hunger.
