Role:
Jetson is seeking a passionate Marketing Coordinator to join our collaborative and innovative team. This person is a proactive, organized self-starter who thrives in a small company environment. Responsibilities include managing the editorial calendar, publishing, monitoring, and reporting across all social media channels and other general tasks to support the marketing team. The ideal candidate is hungry to dive in where help is needed, is incredibly organized and proactive, and has excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
Responsibilities:
● Support marketing team on campaign development from ideation to execution
● Coordinate and manage content distribution and publishing across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other related social media platforms
● Support Content Manager with influencer program; tasks could include outreach, coordinating shipping of product samples, and tracking and reporting results
● Support email team by scheduling and proof-reading email campaigns
● Manage cross-functional relationship with Creative and Content, including submission of creative requests, ensuring assets are developed and published across platforms on time and in line with editorial calendar
● Partner with Customer Service to manage online communities, including responding to comments and direct messages
● Propose and support development of innovative ideas and initiatives that drive customer growth, sales, and brand awareness
Qualifications:
● 0-2+ years of managing marketing processes and executing social media programs for fast growing consumer brands, media outlets, or design firms; internship or any other relevant experience will be considered
● Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, or related field
● Demonstration of strategic thinking and planning in social media and / or digital marketing, with experience in community engagement and growth
● Exposure to and understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok
● Experience working in platforms such as Google Suite, Klaviyo, and Shopify are a plus (but not required)
● On the pulse of social media trends and best practices
● Exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-through, outstanding organizational skills, and ability to problem solve
● Entrepreneurial mindset, with a “hands on” attitude and the ability to think on your toes and pivot accordingly
● Strong sense of urgency, with the ability to get things done both autonomously and collaboratively
● Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and with different audiences
