What We Are Looking For:
The Director, Influencer & Social Marketing will be responsible for managing the influencer and organic social strategies and team to grow awareness, engagement, affinity and, ultimately, conversion at ThirdLove.
Reporting to the VP of Brand Marketing & Communications, the Director has an opportunity to build and scale an already growing program into a powerhouse influencer and organic social organization. The ideal candidate comes with proven experience scaling talent and influencer capabilities for driving outsized awareness and engagement gains, as well as has a unique knack for knowing what will drive interest to cut through the category clutter. You will understand how to identify the best creators to deliver on KPIs against reach, engagement and cost effectiveness, taking ThirdLove’s influencer program to the next level to drive interest, engagement and brand love with ThirdLove’s target consumer. You will also be able to build and grow ThirdLove’s organic social community to drive brand interest and love through a strong, engaging POV.
What You Will Own And How You Will Make A Difference:
- Own, oversee, and execute an influencer strategy across to drive awareness, interest and conversion from new customers
- Architect new approach to building out internal influencer team
- Author talent strategy and executional plan, both in concert with brand-level marketing efforts and as stand alone activations
- Lead the development & execution of influencer strategy designed to affect the entire consumer journey -- brand awareness, engagement, consideration and conversion
- Lead influencer campaigns from ideation and pitching to campaign execution, including paid engagements, unpaid nano seeding, and experiential integration
- Oversee team and participate in contract negotiation process with talent and/or their agents/managers, ensuring clear scope of work, alignment on timeline and deliverables while driving cost efficiencies
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to fully integrate influencer efforts into 360 marketing programs and launches
- Lead and grow a large team of best-in-class marketers, including a growing a non-exempt internal influencer operations team
- Plan and manage annual strategy and budget for influencer activities
- Develop and execute on multi-channel organic social media strategy that links to brand marketing efforts, seasonal needs and PR/influencer efforts
- Create linkages between influencer and organic social efforts that make both channels more successful
- Build and grow the ThirdLove POV in organic social and lens it towards channel-specific audience and usage particulars.
- Develop and report on clear KPIs and tracking metrics
Who You Are:
- 7+ years of influencer or related marketing experience
- Experience in organic social strategy and/or execution
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Finger on the pulse of the fashion, beauty, & wellness space, trends and opportunities
- Excels in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Deep knowledge of and insights into emerging trends, technologies in influencer and organic social
- Balance of creative and strategic, knowing how to bring new approaches and ideas to the table and then operationalize them
- Loves data! Strong aptitude with analytics and interpreting data into creative, action-oriented insights + strategy. Strong understanding of measurement metrics for success
- Familiarity with online analytical tools such as Dash Hudson, Grin, and Google Analytics
