Betches Media is looking for interns from diverse backgrounds and experiences who bring knowledge, creativity & innovative thinking.

This is not your typical "grab me a cup of coffee" kind of internship; this is an interactive & collaborative work environment, where creativity leads to opportunities to gain hands-on career experience. With available positions across multiple departments, from content and marketing to analytics and editorial, Betches Media has a variety of options.

Our internships are geared towards individuals in the early stages of their career path who have a foundational knowledge of the media industry and experience relevant to the specific role for which they are applying.

The ideal candidate(s) must have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required
  • Must be based in or near New York, able to work out of our Manhattan office
  • Certain positions may indicate if they are fully remote
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work without constant supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to receive college credit for internship, as this an unpaid opportunity
  • You will be required to verify internship prior to receiving an official offer

We are looking for the following interns for the Summer 2022 Semester:

1-Consumer Insight Intern (Hybrid/NYC Office)

  • Assist the Consumer Insights & Analytics department with daily analytics tracking tasks spanning all Betches social, web, podcast, and email platforms
  • Assist with monthly reporting and demographic updates
  • Assist with conducting competitive analysis
  • Research & compile industry trends & benchmarks
  • Desired skills: Proficiency in Excel/Google sheets, Visualization tools (Google data studio/ Tableau - Not required but a plus), Ms Powerpoint / Google Slides, previous marketing & analytics experience a plus

2-Content Intern (Hybrid/ NYC Office)

  • Assist with development of Diet Starts Tomorrow and When’s Happy Hour new content series
  • Source guests and potential influencers that Betches can cover to ensure we're bringing in the most diversity into our content
  • Research current hot topics in career & finance and health & wellness
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends within both industries and bring team relevant topics that we can include in our ongoing content plans
  • Desired skills: TikTok , Instagram Reels, creative copywriting, proficient design skills

3-Editorial Intern (Fully Remote)

  • Copy edit articles
  • Upload articles into CMS
  • Reach out to content creators for permission to repost on Betches channels
  • Occasional writing for content and blogs
  • Desired skills: Excellent writing skills & good grasp of grammar, Experience with Wordpress is a plus

4-E-Commerce Intern (Hybrid/ NYC Office)

  • Visually merchandise product assortments on website via shopify
  • Help create product pages by writing creative and engaging product descriptions, managing samples, etc
  • Coordinating orders for influencer gifting and other marketing promotions
  • Source content for Shop instagram account
  • Desired skills: - Shopify experience preferred, Strong knowledge and awareness of pop culture and trends, Social media and creative writing experience is a plus

5-Graphic Design Intern (Hybrid/ NYC Office)

  • Assist in the creation of graphics for social media stories across various accounts graphics styling for branded content and other social graphics
  • Editing E-commerce images for the website
  • Creating web banners for betches.com articles
  • Photographing products for our E-commerce website and other social platforms as flatlays and lifestyle images
  • Help ideate concepts for social media graphics across various accounts
  • Help ideate concepts for our Shop Betches collections
  • Curate mood boards for Shop Betches collections
  • Help find design inspiration for social graphics and Shop Betches Participate in creative brainstorms with Shop Betches, Content & Design teams
  • Desired skills: Proficient design skills, works in adobe CC specially illustrator & photoshop, experience with social media tools

6-Human Resources Intern (Hybrid/ NYC Office)

  • Screen resume, arrange and coordinate interviews of potential candidates
  • Assist with onboarding new team members (offer letter, orientation, new hire paperwork, etc.)
  • Support the Human Resources department through daily tasks and special projects;
  • Network and learn through events and training onsite
  • Respond to staff inquiries regarding HR-related matters
  • Desired skills: strong attention to detail, proficient in Google Suite, actively pursuing a degree in Human Resources

7-Integrated Marketing Intern (Fully Remote)

  • Ideate proactive branded content ideas
  • Help craft branded strategy/give additional insight to TikTok
  • Stay on the latest trends in social, podcast & newsletter
  • Identify advertising prospects across categories
  • Keep a list of competitive partnerships for us to reference and help build out case studies
  • Desired skills: Social media (Instagram + TikTok), basic knowledge of podcasts & newsletter, knowledge of Google Suite, Photoshop, InDesign or Canva would be a plus

8-Podcast Intern (Hybrid/ NYC Office)

  • Assist podcast producers with developing podcast episode content, episode structure, interview outlines, and content calendars
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and collaborate with team to identify key content areas to develop into features and episodes
  • Learn how to edit and review podcast content
  • Research and participate in outreach activities to engage hosts and guest speakers
  • Desired skills: Some experience with podcast editing (i.e. Adobe audition) and strong writing skills

9-TikTok Intern (Hybrid/ NYC Office)

  • Brainstorm and create new TikToks for Betches’ account in areas such as: entertainment, pop culture, weddings, lifestyle, dating, & more
  • Create celebrity compilation videos
  • Help create comedic TikTok meme videos
  • Stay up to date on trending TikTok sounds and come up with video ideas using them
  • Create greenscreen TikTok video
  • Desired skills: video editing using iphone apps (InShot)
