Herman-Scheer is a brand and growth design studio for founders and companies playing the long game. We build, launch, and grow culture-shaping consumer brands in the wellness, technology, and F&B categories. We were originally based in Venice, CA, but we're now evolving into a more remote workforce. We're currently at 22 full-time people, and hiring for 5 new roles. Every new project of ours is better than the last, our brand is resonating in the market, and we're growing in an exciting way. Most importantly, we're having a lot of fun doing it. As a Strategist, you should be tapped into media, culture, consumer behavior and CPG brands and excited by the opportunity to work alongside a creative team in crafting strategies for campaigns, social, and productions.
What You'll Do
- Research & Insights - you’ll dig through qualitative and quantitative research, social listening, and cultural insights to inform our strategic thinking and make the creative impactful and relevant.
- Concept Development - you’ll work alongside the creative team to develop big ideas and platforms for campaigns that capture attention and drive action. Ideas that make you think. Stunts that stop you in your tracks. Storytelling that moves you.
- Comms Planning - you’ll develop media and messaging architectures that consider the full consumer journey and all the places and moments to connect with the audience + rollout plans to bring campaigns to market.
- Audience Strategy - you’ll identify and define target audiences for campaigns based on objectives and existing brand strategies.
- Influencer & Social Strategy - you’ll develop content strategies and briefs for social that activate communities and influencers to drive conversation and growth.
- Reporting - you’ll consider approaches for measuring performance and results from our campaigns and content for learning and case study data.
- Always Help Us Get Better: You'll work alongside our Project Management team and Operations team to continuously improve our process, become more efficient and increase the quality of our work.
About you
- You have 5+ years of experience as a Strategist at an agency or similar environment
- Experience developing multi-channel marketing strategies for modern consumer brands
- Desire to work with startups, launch brands, and be close to creative
- Tapped in on social media trends and emerging platforms
- Experience working with influencers as part of campaign strategies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and skilled in time and deadline management
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple large projects at once and at high-speed
- Excellent presentation skills both internally and to clients.
- Possess a strong curiosity, an ability to deal with ambiguity and work autonomously, and have a preference for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- You’re a natural collaborator with experience working as part of a team
- You can use research & data to develop, validate, and refine ideas
- You’re curious and good at asking questions to solve complex problems
- You’re willing to learn new things on the job, and to give and receive feedback
- You’re excited by diverse perspectives, ideas, and experiences
