Job Summary:

  • We're looking for a freelance Social Media Manager to join the Superfly Music Location Based Experience team on a four-month contractual basis
  • The Social Media Manager will work closely with the Marketing, Social Media, Creative Production, Retail, Sponsorship teams, and freelance staffing support to deliver successful social media campaigns that drive ticket sales and invite our community to play and connect

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development of social media strategies for Superfly MLBE properties that drive ROI and increase brand awareness for our experiences
  • Be responsible for the execution and community management of social media and digital channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube) for multiple handles and properties
  • Maintain content calendars and timelines, overseeing the content approval process with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support paid social media efforts by providing day-to-day management of external digital media agencies
  • Provide recommendations to social media and creative teams as to what content delivers the best results and optimal performance.
  • Provide reporting and key insights around growth and engagement of Superfly experience handles across platforms
  • Assist in talent, partner, blogger and influencer outreach and execution
  • Contribute to photo/video shoot production, including drafting briefs, creating shot lists, identifying creative resources and ensuring all assets delivered
  • Work on-site at experiences, supporting the marketing and social media team
  • Identify and help implement new processes to further collaboration and efficiencies.
  • Find new ways to leverage the latest social media technologies, trends and tactics to consistently innovate and deliver best in class work.

Qualifications, skills and abilities:

  • College degree preferred, but similar skills or experience will be considered.
  • 3-4+ years at a brand, event production company, agency setting, or related experience preferred
  • Event marketing or music/entertainment/media industry experience preferred
  • Experience leading vertical video strategies and execution (TikTok, Instagram Reels)
  • Proficient with Google Suite, PowerPoint, Keynote.
  • Ability to accept feedback and make appropriate changes promptly.
  • Ability to maintain a calm presence, take initiative, demonstrate flexibility, and prioritize a multitude of projects under pressure.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and handle diverse workload.
