We are looking to fill an immediate need on our James Martin Vanities team! As a Marketing Specialist, you will support James Martin Vanities marketing initiatives focusing on our digital marketing and eCommerce efforts. Daily responsibilities include updating and maintaining product listings, creating promotional and product campaign materials and newsletters, implementing social media marketing campaign strategy, and general marketing duties. If you have a well-rounded background in marketing, have excellent technical writing skills, and enjoy the creative freedom of an entrepreneurial atmosphere with the stability of a large, established company, this is the role for you!
This is a fully remote role that can be performed from anywhere in the U.S. This role will operate on Eastern Standard Time (EST) Zone hours and candidates located in other time zones must be willing to work a corporate day shift EST schedule. A strong, engaging remote presence is required to perform the essential duties of this role.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and project-lead the creation of new product listing and product-level maintenance on company websites
- Assist Digital Marketing Manager in working with creative services, advertising, and sales channel partners to implement marketing initiatives
- Execution of new product launches, promotions, campaigns, and other marketing activities at a brand level including but not limited to writing copy, press releases, product launch overviews, image keywording, creating landing pages and web pages
- Maintaining product data and assets for the duration of the product’s lifecyle on brand or sub brand sites.
- Write, develop and distribute articles on JMV, Ferguson Sharepoint sites, design and create email blasts
- Work with key partners to successfully implement brand priorities
- Coordinate content needs in collaboration with sales channel managers
- Implement social media marketing calendar and oversee influencer program
- Deliver reports on sales, advertising and organic reach metrics on social media or within paid listing ad platforms
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field and 2+ years of experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, SEO / SEM, Brand Management, Product Development, Channel Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent combination of education and related experience, required
- Experience with Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, Shopify, or similar marketing software, website management programs, or social media business suite programs, required
- Basic understanding of brand strategy required, B2B branding experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to capture and convey information to a variety of audiences
- Previous experience writing SEO/SEM rich marketing copy or content, required
- Basic Photoshop proficiency, strongly preferred
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel, including pivot tables or v-lookups, preferred
- Positive demeanor, self-motivated, results driven
- Analytical and organized with strict attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Effective at multi-tasking and prioritizing a high number of projects and tasks at one time
