We are looking for an experienced and impact-oriented Product Marketer to join the Global Consumer Marketing team to lead our Content and Creator teams.

A successful candidate has experience working hand in hand with product leaders to bring products to market, and sustaining them through their full lifecycle; orchestrating strategic planning, cross functional team briefing, creative development and managing cross functional collaboration across a matrixed global organization. You must have a deep understanding of Twitter, and be able to develop a vision for how the products your team manages will impact and deliver on the business needs.

What You’ll Do

The Global Consumer Product Marketing team is responsible for bringing to market our consumer markets; educating, exciting, amplifying, and sustaining them to ultimately help our global audience of consumers and potential consumers find the value of Twitter. In this role you will be leading a significant amount of products simultaneously, keeping social, communications, creative, influencer, partner, community and marketing teams driving in the same direction, with a strong strategic plan of where we are driving the business. You will spend significant time with product leadership, working collaboratively on the vision, process, resourcing and plan for potential and planned products, while providing research and feedback on consumer behavior to impact features and products.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Senior Director, Head of Consumer Product Marketing, you will be the lead person dedicated in the product marketing org working cross functionally with Marketing, Comms, Trust and Safety, and Product leadership on our consumer products
  • Manage a team of highly talented product marketers across multiple consumer product verticals
  • Work closely with your counterparts who are driving Health and Privacy, Experiences, Community Management, and Audience Product Marketing
  • Drive all product marketing GTM activities for Content, and Creator initiatives including positioning, messaging, naming, how-to’s and creative campaigns
  • Orchestrate and lead the creative execution of marketing campaigns
  • Establish global strategies aligned with regional needs
  • Set annual and quarterly OKRs for Product Marketing efforts
  • Deal with escalations that are at times high profile in nature, often in the public eye, demanding executive attention, but remain calm and level headed to bring about quick resolution.
  • Create compelling presentations to effectively communicate complex issues to the executive team and to external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of product marketing experience in B2C / tech environment.
  • Proven experience partnering closely with product management, sales and marketing teams working in a matrixed organization
  • Outstanding program management with ability to manage multiple, cross-functional projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking
  • Analytical mind-set and problem solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience working with brand advertisers, platforms or solutions
  • Passion for Twitter
  • Strategic thinker, able to clearly define and articulate product marketing plans
