The Associate Vice President (AVP) category marketing for software and hi-tech is a seasoned professional with 15+ years of marketing experience and passion for executing market leading brand awareness and demand generation activities.

This role will be responsible for guiding, overseeing and directly (hands-on) building the marketing strategy, planning, messaging, content and campaign journey for the software and hi-tech industry vertical. Reporting to the VP of Industry Marketing, this individual will partner with Performance Marketing, Brand Experience and other key functional leaders (Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery) to ensure we maximize the impact of our brand, thought leadership and solution value propositions in prioritized markets.

A qualified candidate must possess broad and deep skills in solution marketing, with a strong understanding of current trends and buying cycle within the market. In addition, a successful candidate will understand end-to-end marketing and have a visceral appreciation for the CX. KPIs for success in this role will largely be focused on improved market exposure/ engagement in our prioritized categories and quality demand (marketing influence) with target audiences.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to be an active contributor to our team, developing strong executive stakeholder relationships and collaborating within the marketing organization to drive execution.

What you’ll do

  • Act as marketing single point of contact for industry sales/GTM leadership based in United States as well as other markets
  • Design and implement awareness and lead generation marketing programs including (but not limited to) on-going digital campaigns and Account Based Marketing programs for specific accounts
  • Manage and lead small global team, based predominately in India
  • Support select/strategic RFPs and implement pursuit marketing campaigns
  • Lead industry co-marketing efforts in partnership with partner ecosystem team
  • Engage directly with internal stakeholders to develop compelling thought leadership assets, including Sales, Delivery and Pre-sales
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to develop outbound communications, web, social media, event participation and content strategy
  • Collaborate with business leadership and analyst relations to support ongoing influencer interactions and positioning.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in B2B/IT Services marketing roles
  • Excellent understanding of content, digital and ABM marketing
  • Demonstrated understanding of latest trends in IT Services and Digital Transformation
  • Familiarity of key platform players and competitive landscape in the software and hi-tech industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong executive presence and experience working with executives
