Social Media Specialist
The Southern California Food Allergy Institute (SCFAI) is a cutting-edge research and clinical care center that is revolutionizing food allergy treatment through its use of big data and technology to offer customized therapeutic treatment. We offer the one-of-a-kind Tolerance Induction Program™, an individualized treatment program designed to help children with food allergies achieve true “Food Freedom”- the ability to eat whatever they want, whenever they want, without fear of reaction. SCFAI has successfully treated thousands of patients to true “Food Freedom” from all over the world and is rapidly growing to meet the needs of our expanding enrollment waitlist.
We are currently seeking a Social Media Specialist to oversee the organization's social media platforms and ultimately drive patient acquisition and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commercial social content strategies and execution according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth
- Responsible for the management for all the social media channels
- Create, develop, and manage compelling social media content to build and increase client engagement
- Developing and managing an editorial calendar and content plan for social media activity
- Engage with followers to build relationships within the social community to drive meaningful engagement
- Monitor and report on the success of social media strategies
- Ensure all internal and external social media requests are carried out professionally and delivered either online or in person following the best social media and influencer marketing practices
- Develop new social media channel strategically when it is needed
- Develop and execute social media influencer marketing campaigns
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent industry experience
- Experience in managing organic and paid social media campaigns and building a strong media presence
- An understanding of analytics and social listening platforms
- Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and communications skills
- Show initiatives, coupled with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- A strong team player and lateral thinker, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually, and independently
- Graphic design skill is a plus
