The Traffic and Marketing Tech (TMT) Creator Growth team’s goal is to make Amazon the Earth’s most desired destination for commerce influencers and their content. We are seeking an experienced social media marketing manager to help manage paid social campaigns within our acquisition function. The person in this role should have a passion for social media and understand how to set-up, deploy, and optimize global advertising campaigns. We are looking for someone with a proven track-record of success developing social strategies + tactics that drive “new sign-up growth.” This includes, partnering with social media vendors on social guidelines and best practices, managing campaign set-up and execution, launching social experiments, auditing cost and optimizing performance, uploading creative, and reporting findings.

The keys to success in this role, are an ability to meet targeted acquisition goals, assess and prioritize social planning opportunities, establish social benchmarks, optimize social campaign performance, execute quickly on ongoing paid social campaigns, analyze the impact of each social media channel, and continually find ways to help scale the number of quality influencers in our program.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partnering directly with social media vendors on marketing plans for our global acquisition campaigns
  • Conducting social media research to help identify new social acquisition opportunities and leverage insights to improve campaign performance
  • Optimizing social acquisition campaigns to help increase sign-up growth and targeted goals
  • Stay current on social media trends, identify emerging social media/marketing/technology partners for experimental opportunities with Creator Growth
  • Develop business cases to support social media planning recommendations, targeting, tactics, budget recommendations
  • Establish media benchmarks and planning goals that align with Creator Growth Influencer business goals
  • Responsible for paid social campaign reporting and tracking full-funnel metrics
  • Partner with cross-functional/agency team (e.g. Creative, Marketing, Engagement, Events etc.) on social acquisition marketing request

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of a proven track of record of building and optimizing social media campaigns, digital media campaigns and global media campaigns
  • 5+ years of experience working both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment
  • 5+ years of experience in campaign management, budget management, or vendor management
  • 5+ years of analytical experience including converting raw data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • 5 + years of demonstrated experience to work effectively across business and marketing teams to deliver results

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree Digital Marketing, Online Advertising, Communications or a similar field
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies and launching new programs
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
