JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Social Content Specialist to join our team at Blokhaus. The Social Content Specialist will be responsible for assisting with influencer activations including maintaining agency relationships, coordinating influencer rosters, and planning content placement. This role will help drive strategy and plan and execute marketing programs and initiatives, coordinating cross-functionally across the company. The Social Content Specialist will support brand development, product/service launches, and partnership activations through social media, influencer marketing, and other owned content strategies.

The candidate should have a keen ability to focus on and simplify key priorities and opportunities and execute projects with relentless attention to detail.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Support and contribute to the content team working across social media, influencer activations, and general marketing.
- Build strong influencer relationships in the tech and consumer space
- Coordinate cross-functionally to prepare targeted influencer marketing campaigns across teams and geographies
- Work interdepartmentally and with external agencies to help support influencer marketing strategies in order to boost awareness for the brand.
- Write and develop creative, thoughtful pitches and influencer briefing materials
- Stay up to date on latest industry developments, identifying, developing and placing content to help spread the word and amplify the brand.
- Work with Marketing, Communications & Social teams to align on content strategy to support critical announcements such as partner or product launches.
- Plan and execute on product launches, educational programs, and momentum building activities
- Identify and manage content in a continuous news cycle
WHO ARE YOU:
- 1+ years of experience in communications, social media, or influencer, affiliate, or partner-channel marketing
- Demonstrable track record of activating and managing relationships with influencers e.g. examples of sponsored content, driving business results with influencers, or handling and drafting documentation.
- Advanced knowledge of all social media platforms and designated verticals
- Proven ability to work remotely and excel with limited supervision
- You are self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude and are passionate about creative story-telling and problem solving
- You should be able to handle multiple projects and thrive in a very dynamic startup environment
- You should have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- You have excellent written and verbal communications skills and detailed project management skills
- You are a self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities
- You are able to work well under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects
- You have demonstrated experience advocating for projects and influencing teams beyond your control
