About The Job

This position is needed to build content that connects our audiences with key thought leaders to increase product awareness in an engaging and scalable way. You will help elevate our internal subject matter experts, as well as evangelize our customers, and engage external thought leaders.

Working with our campaigns, product marketing, and communications teams at Twilio, you will meet our audiences where they are to build an active community of customers and influencers.

In This Role, You’ll

Responsibilities

  • Lead an editorial calendar for customer and influencer-based content, including regular direction from key stakeholders and partners across Twilio;
  • Design a tiered structure for how we co-create content with our customers;
  • Create an influencer marketing strategy with key leaders in the industry;
  • Develop a line-of-business customer community by partnering with the customer marketing team and our events team to develop customer engagement strategies before, during and after in-person and virtual events;
  • Measure and analyze key performance metrics for content, including awareness, new customer acquisition, audience engagement, leads to build pipe, and audience retention;
  • Research industry trends to keep Twilio in the conversation.

Required

  • 5+ years of community or customer content management experience; preferably in the technology industry and/or SaaS;
  • A customer-first, reporter’s mentality when building content with the ability to ask the right questions and uncover the hidden pain-points that our audiences feel;
  • Experience working cross functionally with campaign marketing, public relations, analyst relations, corporate communications, product marketing, developer marketing, sales, creative, and other teams;
  • A strong point of view for the future of how both internal and external influencers map to customer evangelism and how it aligns across the full-funnel audience journey; experience in building out the business case to pursue it across teams;
  • Experience building research and trend reports for the technology buyer;
  • Copyediting experience with best-in-class standards for editorial quality. In addition, you bring an immaculate attention to detail across all of your work.

Location

This role will be remote, and based in the USA.

Approximately 5 % travel is anticipated.

Colorado Applicants

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $99,360 - $124,200.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
