Motion Design Creative Director

StreamElements is looking for a talented Creative Director to join our design leadership team and head the Creators and Campaigns Motion Studios.

As Creative Director, you will be responsible for creating live on-screen experiences for some of the biggest brands and content creators in the world, by directing and managing a team of designers, animators and Illustrators, as well as conceptualizing and proposing innovative creatives.

The ideal candidate would have excellent leadership and communication skills, the ability to motivate the team members in order to fully express their talent and generate innovative creative concepts that support the business & strategic needs of the company.

Qualifications and Specialties:

• Lead the team to create eye-catching designs & animations that are aligned with guidelines and most importantly: create an engaging brand experience
• Provide design guidelines, ideas, references, and a clear creative vision.
• Support the team’s professional growth through processes, tools, and resources to help them make their best work
• Actively grow the team by scouting for talents and conducting interviews of art directors, designers, and animators from around the globe.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, freelancers, and external creative agencies

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related management experience in agency, animation, or post-production studios
• Creative professional with over 10 years of experience in visual, and motion design with compelling storytelling and interactive experiences
• Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives
• Experience in developing, mentoring, and managing teams
• Proven experience with concept development
• Well-connected in the creative industry to source freelancers, contractors, and new suppliers
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of software and applications involved in the creative process
