As our Account Director, you will…
Be Accountable and Responsible
- Develop quarterly marketing strategies and present plans to achieve client KPIs
- Upsell services to current clients
- Create digital marketing budgets to support client goals and forecast revenue
- Serve as team lead, mentoring and motivating a team of cross-functional channel experts to execute strategy and analyze results
- Facilitate development of and support high-performing Blue Moon Digital account teams
- Navigate complex client organizations, particularly in the apparel/retail/luxury industries
- Knowledge and able to articulate a few of the digital marketing channels below:
- Paid Search and Paid Social, SEO, Display Advertising, Email Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Content and Influencer Marketing
- Website Analytics & Optimization
- Website Usability
- Online Prospecting & Customer Acquisition
- Channel Attribution & Holistic Marketing Strategies
- Ecommerce trends & best practices
These Are The Qualifications We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Marketing, Business or related field; or equivalent work experience
- Presentation skills
- Minimum 5 years in a client-facing position (e.g. account management, client management, or business development)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of digital marketing experience, including in-depth working knowledge of at least one channel
- Willingness to work on Federally regulated products (ie: tobacco products)
- Enthusiasm for learning and understanding the web industry and technologies
- Ability to bring finesse and an air of confidence in the face of challenging circumstances
- Values a team culture and entrepreneurial environment
- Exceptional problem-resolution skills including the ability to think creatively to develop ideas/solutions that will contribute value in a dynamic, client-centered environment.
- Strong software use skills including in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and aptitude to quickly learn new tools
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Coremetrics)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments with effective resolution of conflicting priorities
- Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics certification a plus
- Experience using a project management tool (i.e. Basecamp, Mavenlink, AtTask, etc.) is a plus
Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000
Salary differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training and experience. MERGE’s career ladders reflect department growth from Associate through Partner levels, with details of roles and responsibilities associated with each level. New hires are assigned a job level within a particular position based on these criteria and salary is set within the job level based on these criteria. Growth from one level to the next occurs when employees master their role, and are promoted into the next level, generally during salary review cycles which are posted in the employee handbook
