The Digital Partnerships & Public Relations Account Manager Role

We are looking for an energetic and experienced account manager to manage the strategy and daily execution of our clients’ affiliate, influencer and Public Relations marketing programs. The position will report to the Account Director and work closely with other internal support personnel.

The position will be responsible for 4-6 client accounts and serve as the main point of contact.

Primary Responsibilities

Affiliate Marketing Programs

  • Launch and manage affiliate marketing programs.
  • Identify and recruit affiliate publishers into each program and support them in their marketing efforts.
  • Identify and vet paid placement opportunities with affiliates.
  • Daily maintenance of programs, including: application vetting, program monitoring, updating creative assets, newsletter distribution, activity review, etc.

Public Relations Marketing Campaigns

  • Launch and manage digital PR campaigns.
  • Identify news angles, story ideas and media opportunities.
  • Craft PR and partnership pitches.
  • Secure digital media coverage.

Influencer Marketing Campaigns

  • Launch and manage influencer campaigns.
  • Develop influencer engagement tactics.
  • Identify and recruit influencers.
  • Develop influencer campaigns and identify and engage partners

Client Management & Communication

  • Identify clients' goals and objective and develop campaigns to align.
  • Gather program metrics and send/present to clients on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis.
  • Provide regular updates, answer questions and facilitate client calls.

This role requires a broad range of skills and those taking ownership of their clients’ programs will thrive in it.

Minimum Qualifications - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years of client-facing marketing management
  • Experience at a marketing consulting firm or agency
  • Experience with marketing and project management tools and platforms
  • Experience working with affiliate, influencers and/or editorial teams
  • Understanding of online tracking methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (we’re in the business of client management and communication)
  • Understanding of online publisher monetization models (blogs, reviewers, influencers, mass media, etc.)
  • Experience with online partnership development for brands and retailers

Additional Qualifications - Desired

  • Affiliate program management experience
  • Public Relations (PR) and/or editorial publishing experience
  • Influencer engagement and social media campaign management
  • Media buying and negotiating experience
