About The Role

The Influencer Marketing Manager will play a critical role in the brand's continued growth through customer acquisition and brand development on social media.The ideal candidate is driven, thinks creatively, and plans strategically.

Responsibilities

Influencer Marketing

  • Develop and implement influencer marketing strategy - across macro, mid-tier and nano - establishing and nurturing long-term partnerships through organic and sponsored content to drive measurable results.
  • Find brand relevant influencers from Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, and other relative social media platforms.
  • Manage macro influencer partnerships directly - serving as the brand connection point to build strong + deep relationships with our ambassadors on a personal level - leading outreach, negotiation, contracting all the way through to kick-off.
  • Harness storytelling to leverage influencers to connect to brand objectives and consumer needs. Review creators' content and optimize their traffic's sales funnels.
  • Track and analyze performance of influencer outreach, content, and conversion rates to estimate ROI and advise on best strategies
  • Perform competitive analysis, industry research, and continually assess best practices and KPIs
  • Monitor, track and share new digital and social trends, tools and platforms that connect with brand strategies

Public Relations:

  • Lead public relations strategy to generate exposure in mainstream media, including national and local outlets, targeting business and consumer press across all channels.
  • Manage and collaborate with PR Agency to develop and execute seasonal and monthly fashion pitches aligned with pre-determined product stories that build heightened buzz around new collections, new collaborations, and hero item stories year-over-year.
  • Track press mentions weekly and facilitate high-impact editor testimonials for use in marketing channels.
  • Partner with cross-functional Marketing, Paid Media, Social Media, Creative, Retail, Merchandising, Design, and Strategy teams to build a full 360 approach for new product launches & brand impact initiatives.
  • Keep a pulse on evolving fashion industry trends; leverage the digital landscape to test and maximize direct response editorial content, driving a clear ROI and positive SEO.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 4-5 Years of Influencer and / or a combo of Public Relations Marketing experience, with apparel / footwear experience being a plus, agency experience is a plus
  • Understand the influencer and PR landscape, their social platforms/editorial content creation patterns and their work within the footwear / apparel industry
  • Detailed oriented, self-starter who is highly motivated and can think creatively to approach an opportunity
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Experience using Grin or similar platforms
  • Experience using ecommerce analytics and platforms such as Google Analytics and Shopify
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Superb time management skills and ability to work in a high-paced work environment
  • Proven track record driving results
  • Personal interest in the sustainable fashion / footwear industry is a plus
