The Marshalls owned social team is looking for a motivated, passionate digital marketing expert to join our team. Candidates should have a strong understanding and background in creating digital content and strategies to meet brand objectives across all aspects of organic social, influencer marketing and community management. You will be responsible for supporting our multi-channel business goals to store and site. You will work closely with the digital marketing manager, leading marketing agencies, in-house creative teams & more to help develop effective communication tactics and best-in-class user experiences within each channel. This role provides an opportunity to work on an exciting brand (coveted by many!) with a large role in creating content that inspires our customers to shop Marshalls both in store and online.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Develop monthly organic social content strategies to help drive business priorities. Lead creative evaluation, feedback & approvals.
  • Lead the development and oversee execution of organic social content in partnership with our agency team. This includes writing input briefs (merchandise support), production for shoots, selection of creators, influencers, etc., and creative evaluation, feedback & approvals.
  • Support paid efforts that amplify creator and influencer content, and support influencer marketing strategies and execution.
  • Support community management efforts and measurement approach.
  • Drive development of quarterly & monthly organic social measurement reports.
  • Keep team informed of ongoing learnings & drive optimization of content.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required
  • 2-4 years’ Marketing experience; digital marketing/social experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and best practices
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends and present key findings (quantitative and analytic skills)
  • Experience using MS Excel & PowerPoint (no additional software required)
  • Communication is key - strong oral and written communicator, comfortable with giving clear feedback grounded in strategy
  • Interest in off-price retail and social media
  • A team player who collaborates well and enjoys building relationships with partners across multiple disciplines with ability to navigate different team dynamics
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
  • Agile thinker who works well in the gray and in a fast paced environment
