WHY WE NEED YOU

Hydrow is changing the way the world thinks about wellness. We are seeking a Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing to lead our brand marketing efforts to spread the word about what an amazing workout rowing is and how Hydrow is the best possible option. This person will oversee, in conjunction with performance marketing, the brand proposition and messaging, market and competitive research, brand creative, in addition to our PR, events and social teams.

We are seeking a strategic marketing disruptor who can get things done. Our ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial innovator with a solid brand marketing background and a proven record of building brands - you have built profitable businesses and have run fully integrated marketing campaigns leveraging social media, traditional media, influencer marketing and PR. You are able to pull together cross functional teams and have successfully redefined categories and embraced technological innovations. You are a powerhouse leader with the ability to teach, motivate and lead a strong marketing team. You are agile, collaborative, confident and driven but also have the humility to listen to the customer and others around you before making decisions.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

CREATE: Build new pathways to reach our consumers in a constantly evolving connected fitness landscape. You will create and evolve marketing for an up and coming brand that is looking to innovate how they reach and respond to consumers. Across a broad spectrum of marketing channels, in alignment with unique program, services, and special event types, you will lead a cross-functional team in implementing traditional marketing (PR, communications, print, local media and events) and digital marketing campaigns. In leading all brand work, you will create and maintain consistency across all communication initiatives throughout the customer journey from interest through to evangelism.

DEVELOP: You will create and develop campaigns and strategies for customer acquisition and re-engagement. You will oversee the creation and implementation of your campaigns’ creative output by both internal partners and external agencies, where appropriate. You will provide oversight of all activation elements including social, PR, media, influencer marketing and creative.

ANALYZE AND COMPETE: All market research, competitive analysis, and P&L will be overseen by you. Managing a high performing, cross-functional marketing team including: creative, content, analytics/research and communications, you will be a cross-functional leader to sales, engagement, and product to grow the Hydrow brand in multiple mediums. In close partnership, with performance marketing, you will use your expertise in the customer journey to navigate the complex and rapidly evolving media landscape that our customers live in. You will work and communicate in an environment with senior leadership, presenting and strategizing at a high level.

You thrive in being a people leader and developing team talent to grow skill sets and utilizing skills as you take the time to get to your team’s strengths and white spaces.

COLLABORATION: You demonstrate success in working across functions and bringing together different teams to work together effectively. You are comfortable developing relationships with multiple internal teams and external partners and making that a key part of your job function.

MANAGEMENT: You show an ability to take ownership and accountability over your team and your work. Supporting and advising your team, you are an effective leader and communicator, adapting to your team's needs and creating clear goals and vision based on company direction and priorities.
