Social media is a playground where communities are built, memes are born, and culture is personified. We are seeking a self-motivated Junior Social Strategist to be part of our growing Integrated Strategy Team. We are looking for someone with multi-faceted passions and curiosities within the constantly evolving landscape of social media, influencer marketing, and how brands and consumers are engaging. They should also have interest in overall brand positioning, cultural trends and audience truths.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help develop briefs that inspire clients and our teams by identifying marketing problems, researching audience/brand/cultural insights, and analyzing trends/results
  • Publish in-feed / stories content for clients and manage content development efforts within cross-functional team
  • Contribute to establishing best practices for each social channel
  • Analyze and share industry thought leadership with internal and external teams
  • Identify insights for brand strategic efforts that span audience, culture, and category
  • Manage analytics reporting platform (Brandwatch), analyze web traffic metrics and implement solutions to improve presence
  • For campaign-related briefs, partner with Brand Strategists to help develop an integrated brief and help facilitate the conversation with Creative teams
  • Create and manage content calendars, in collaboration with Account, Creative, Media and Production departments
  • Conduct social analytics and reporting to measure and share performance, insights and optimizations
  • Support Senior Social Strategist and Strategy department to achieve client business goals

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of professional and/or internship experience in social media strategy, influencer marketing or a related role in a creative environment
  • Experience with standard social and web publishing platforms (eg. Twitter, Instagram Stories, TikTok, Facebook) and live streaming technology (eg. Twitch, YouTube)
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and manage projects
  • Not mandatory, but bonus if candidate has experience with MRI-Simmons and/or audience research
