POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly creative Tik Tok Manager to join the USRX team. In this role you’ll lead the charge in rapidly growing our Tik Tok community by engaging our audience with entertaining, educational content and five-star community management. The Tik Tok Manager will ideate and create weekly content for our Tik Tok channel and will collaborate closely with our Influencer, Creative, and Customer Experience teams to support marketing initiatives that fuel brand awareness.
The ideal candidate is a natural content creator who lives and breathes Tik Tok with an in-depth understanding of trends, content best practices, and prior experience growing a Tik Tok audience for a brand or publication. Successful candidates will have a passion for beauty / skincare, with a proven track record of planning, delivering, and reporting Tik Tok campaigns that have proven successful in building brand awareness and an organic footprint on Tik Tok. They should be a multi-tasker, very creative thinker, problem solver, goal oriented, and enjoy working in a fast paced, start-up culture.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, manage, and execute the brand vision on our Tik Tok channel to drive brand discovery and customer engagement.
- Ideate and strategize Tik Tok content to support brand initiatives and the marketing calendar.
- Create and publish weekly content on our Tik Tok channels that drives views, increases follower growth, and maintains our brand positioning.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on brand campaigns and concepts that support our global brand marketing calendar.
- Own the day-to-day community management by actively engaging with our Tik Tok community in comments and direct messages.
- Collaborate closely with the Influencer Marketing team on content briefs that support Tik Tok campaigns.
- Partner with Tik Tok team to identify new algorithm features and trends so our brand remains innovative and ahead of the curve.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance for Tik Tok best practices such as content guidelines, KPI benchmarks, and channel growth strategies
- Support growth marketing team on paid Tik Tok strategies and content needs that drive new customer acquisition.
- Continuously test new content as a means of finding new audiences and opportunities for viral reach.
- Analyze and report weekly analytics and qualitative insights on Tik Tok results with recommended tactics to improve performance.
- Develop KPI’s for Tik Tok strategy to drive results toward our business goals
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- 3+ years of relevant and proven Tik Tok experience creating content and growing social channels at a brand, agency, or editorial media outlet (a focus on beauty, skincare and lifestyle preferred).
- Able to oversee social media channel communication for full week (including weekends and evenings) with the support of a team.
- Proven expertise in growing social follower counts and extensive knowledge and understanding of Tik Tok
- Highly organized, proficiency in Dropbox, Zendesk, Google Drive, Photoshop, Canva, and experience with social scheduling tools such as Sprout, Planoly and AirTable.
- Passionate about all things beauty, skincare and wellness is a huge plus
- Provides thought leadership and guidance for social media best practices such as content publishing guidelines, KPI benchmarks, and channel growth strategies across our organization.
