... Overview
The PR Specialist supports the Brand Connections team across all PR & Brand Partnership workstreams, including consumer and business press as well as talent & brand partnerships. This position can be fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with PR team, outside agencies, vendors and the internal cross functional teams to promote product news, business priorities, talent and brand partnerships
- Leads day to day communication with PR Agency and Brand Partners including creation of call agendas and recaps
- Gathers and shares internal materials for PR Agency including product, messaging hierarchy and brand updates
- Assist with talent partnerships and events including drafting of term sheets, relaying key info to internal stakeholders, liaison at talent photo shoots & events. Occasional travel required.
- Own brief creation and timelines for PR/Influencer Brand Campaigns & Special Projects/Events
- Route/approve all marketing materials leveraging talent/brand partners
- Assist PR Manager with business and consumer press initiatives, including executive communication, planning and review of all press materials and prep documents
- Establish and nurture key talent and influencer relationships, including talent agents, industry stakeholders and identify opportunities for brand growth and awareness
- Share fashion insights and regularly monitor industry news
- Submit creative tickets for Publicity Needs & Special Projects/Events
- Responsible for team admin duties including invoicing, billing tracker updates, media product orders
- Reviews weekly, quarterly and annual reporting and distributes to internal stakeholders
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in public relations, journalism, marketing, and/or communications
- Minimum of 2-4 years’ PR agency experience, preferably with experience managing multiple projects in a corporate environment
