Associate Marketing Manager
Remote
Contract until October 2022
$30-50/hour
Must have experience in the beverage alcohol industry
Responsibilities
• Assists with the development and implementation of a full calendar of short and long term national retail promotional strategies and tactics to maximize sales opportunities and consumer conversion while building brands at retail. This individual will work closely with the Omnichannel Marketing team on both the timely coordination of respective programming deliverables and review/approval of the same. Monitors and evaluates programming to ensure that objectives and budgets are being met.
• Helps manage the creative development and execution of national retail promotions by working with third party agencies and/or vendors on creative development of promotional graphics and assigning the production and allocation of promotional materials to support programming.
• Provide support in the development of the national rebate offers across the Beer Division brand portfolio that align with the national retail programming calendar.
• Assists with the planning and development of omnichannel, customer-specific retail programming for select Off-premise National Accounts including consumer promotions, social and influencer, in-store awareness, partnerships, sampling and other trial driving mechanisms
• Understands the retailer in-store and online landscape and communicates key changes/challenges to internal stakeholders
• Assists in the development of programming that drives the digital component of the shopper journey (pre store, in store, or offer delivered) to convert shoppers to buyers in conjunction with the Omnichannel Marketing Manager and sales team.
• Assists in developing templates, collecting requests for key programs to meet objectives and building recommended plans and budgets for alignment with brand and sales teams
• Assist in preparing post-program analyses; outlining key learnings and implications to impact and inform future activation
• Share and collaborate with team counterparts to identify areas of opportunities to drive team and program efficiencies
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as determined by management.
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in promotional marketing, brand marketing/management, field sales, or agency capacities, working with a CPG organization, is required in order to understand the job function, marketing and sales needs and the three-tier distribution system.
• Must have omnichannel marketing experience and knowledge of current digital media trends & emerging platforms.
• Experience developing and executing best-in-class omnichannel trade/shopper marketing programs for off-premise retailers in multiple classes of trade (Grocery, Mass Merch, Club, Liquor, Drug, Convenience Store)
• Strong financial discipline and ability to manage budgets effectively
• Excellent communications skills; articulate, robust writing, speaking, and presentation-building skills, strong interpersonal skills, and solid cross functional skills
• Works well in a fast-paced, action-oriented team where priorities change and time frames are critical. Must manage time well and be highly organized in the timely delivery of multiple deliverables across multiple programs. Must be able to work independently and recommend viable solutions to problems and issues. Experience working with agencies to develop consumer-facing, creative digital and analog point of sale / merchandising materials
• Strong teamwork skills, working with interdepartmental functions to achieve project completion in a smooth and timely manner
• Motivated self-starter and be able to work without daily guidance

• Strong PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
