e.l.f. Cosmetics is looking for a creative and high-energy individual with a passion for marketing to be an International Marketing Intern in our dynamic, fast-moving company. This position will be based in New York City but will work with our International Marketing team in both London and on the West Coast.

The Intern, International Marketing will assist with ongoing support for the international marketing department working closely with the team to streamline processes, capture data and conduct market research. The Intern will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current campaigns and will provide support for international go-to-market (GTM) needs like collating market and brand/product insights. They will also work to streamline brand processes as they pertain to external and internal stakeholder requests and facilitate product shipping for international partners including the coordination of tracking and delivery of these shipments.

As this is an Internship, we are also looking someone who is at a four-year university and is currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications or a related field. You must also have a demonstrated strong interest in brand marketing and be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. As this role will work across multiple parts of the organization, you will need to be an excellent team player who is able to multi-task. This role will report to the Brand Manager, International who is based in New York. Our New York City office has re-opened in a hybrid model of three days in the office and two days at home. Please note that e.l.f. requires full vaccination for our employees.

Detailed Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill tasks set out by supervisors – may be across departments (including Sales)
  • Respond to and deliver on misc. agency and retailer requests – asset and copy needs
  • Provide support for international GTM needs (collate market and brand/product insights)
  • Streamline brand processes as they pertain to external and internal stakeholder requests
  • Facilitate product shipping for international partners (coordination – tracking and delivery)
  • Perform regular site audits for retailer platforms; optimizing brand positioning
  • Create and manage sampling calendar – strict inventory control
  • Identify and suggest brand aligned partnerships & influencers with regular monitoring of international landscape (specifically UK & EU)
  • Compile monthly and ad hoc brand reports detailing outcomes – build out social metric tracker (Tribe), Influencer EMV and event recaps, PR

Requirements:

  • A final year student or recent graduate, marketing background a plus
  • Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask
  • Cope well under pressure
  • Innate interest in popular culture and trending topics
