The Director of Influencer Marketing is a senior contributor to the Brand Studio ‘machine’ who will participate across sales, strategy, creative and campaign production workstreams to successfully execute campaigns and to architect, build and cultivate department resources to meet our growing business needs. The ideal candidate will have deep subject matter expertise, active relationships, stellar organizational skills and a ‘get it’ factor. Entrepreneurial spirit is a must.

This position will function as the senior stakeholder and driving force across Influencer & Celebrity marketing workstreams. Excellent communicators who love pairing talent with winning creative and top brands please apply!

The Shareability House is located on the westside of Los Angeles, though we are currently working remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Thought leadership
  • Define and communicate Shareability’s approach to the influencer & branded content space, internally and externally
  • Proactively identify trends, ways of doing business and talent to improve client influencer programs across verticals
  • Educate clients and internal teams on best practices
  • Influencer / Celebrity Strategy & Management
  • Responsible for overall health and growth of influencer division
  • Maintain and build relationships with management teams, record labels, agencies, and PR firms
  • Identify strategically and contextually relevant influencer and celebrity talent for proposals, strategic frameworks, creative concepts & campaigns
  • Micro, Mid, Macro talent (domestically and globally)
  • Present talent options, strategic rationale and estimated results to client
  • Ensure appropriate vetting for brand safety & client callouts prior to internal/external presentation, and before booking
  • Demonstrate understanding of clients’ brands, products, and/or services, goals, competitive situation and industry trends
  • Co-develop vendor and talent briefs with input from Accounts, Strategy, Story Group
  • Project management: oversee vendor and talent output including schedule, creative reviews & quality control
  • Manage negotiations, booking, contracting and payment processes
  • Oversee reporting processes
  • Operations
  • Author SOWs, input to client budget processes
  • Leads talent contract & vendor contract redline processes
  • Tracking of talent and related client accounting
  • Team building / staffing

Skills / Experience

  • 6+ years successfully developing and executing influencer strategies and partnerships, ideally in a creative agency, talent management co., or production/studio environment
  • 6+ years of progressive leadership / management experience
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills with a history of working with a diverse range of audiences, both internal and external, including C-Suite
  • Teamwork mentality with acute attention to detail – highly organized, professional, and discreet with a strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask – professionalism is a must!
  • Strong resourcing and collaboration skills; Strong vendor/agency, management/label & talent relationships
  • Social media platform expertise, ability to think tactically and suggest optimal deliverables based on talent audience and capabilities
  • Superior negotiation skills
  • Experience with paid media a plus
  • Proficiency in Slack, MS Office suite, Keynote / Slides and macOS absolutely required, and proficiency in Asana a nice to have.
