Manager, Paid Media and Influencer Marketing
For Soccer Ventures (FSV) is a media and experiences company, leading a collaborative movement to connect brands and platforms to the diverse American soccer community through immersive storytelling, properties, activations and strategic services. Uniquely positioned within the industry, the company's mission is to advance soccer in the United States, both on and off the field.
The Manager, Paid Media and Influencer Marketing will be FSV’s internal expert for all things paid media. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading campaign development, activation, and innovation and will have experience making data-driven marketing decisions to improve and optimize campaigns for FSV’s owned and operated properties and external partners.
Essential Functions:
- Be a strategic partner cross-functionally across the organization with marketing, account services and sales, educating stakeholders on the state of paid media in the U.S./Mexico and providing KPI-backed solutions to organizational needs
- Strategize, develop, and implement paid media efforts to grow FSV properties (Alianza de Futbol, Black Star Initiative, Footycon etc.)
- Research, vet, and recommend social publishers and influencers for various client initiatives
- Collaborate with social publishers and influencers on the creation of content, ensuring guidelines and deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded
- Manage social publisher and influencer outreach and contract negotiation
- Advise external clients on how to use paid media to engage the fragmented American soccer audience
- Present campaign strategies, POVs, influencer selects, briefs, day-to-day updates and live campaign results to internal teams and clients
- Monitor campaign coverage, analyze results, and create campaign wrap reports
- Lead the testing roadmap for new paid channels
- Collaborate on new business pitches
- Assist internal teams with strategic social advertising best practices, trend identification, campaign analytical data, reporting inquiries and platform troubleshooting
- Contribute to first-party audience strategy across owned properties
Experience and Characteristics:
- A minimum of 4 years experience managing paid social media campaigns
- This individual will work well in a fast-paced environment and be a natural self-starter
- Experience making data-driven marketing decisions to improve and optimize campaigns
- A deep understanding of Media Planning with a generalist knowledge set of all media channels
- Demonstrated expertise in core MS Excel functions (vlookup, pivot tables, data visualization)
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred
- Experience working with DTC/E-commerce brands a plus
Additional Items:
- FSV employees are required to work 40 hrs per week
- Some travel is necessitated for the role based on events and projects
- Ability to work weekends, flexible hours and holidays as scheduled
