Overview

The Social Media Supervisor position is responsible for planning and executing support for all areas of The Container Store’s social media and content marketing program. This position plans and manages content activations across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok and LinkedIn based on strategic initiatives. This role works closely with the PR and Digital Marketing teams as well as external agency partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manages social strategy and content development, including sourcing content, writing copy and maintaining the content calendar
  • Works closely with Digital Marketing, Public Relations & Influencer teams to translate key initiatives to action in social media and content planning
  • Manges day-to-day contact with external agencies and internal partners to ensure campaigns are on time, on strategy, on brief and within budget
  • Has a creative spirit and the ability to create short form video content quickly to tap into platform trends is preferred Ex: TikTok and Instagram Reels and Stories
  • Actively monitors and engages with The Container Store social communities daily
  • Tags shoppable products on Facebook and Instagram and maintain shop page to feature key products, collections or categories
  • Submits creative requests for development of new social assets aligned to creative strategy
  • Maintains Linktree across all channels while ensuring it’s aligned to key campaigns or priorities
  • Works with Customer Solutions department to execute and evolve day-to-day engagement strategy with customers who contact us via social media channels
  • Communicates to the team new trends and opportunities in social media and content strategies to be aware of, test or integrate
  • Executes programs using new and emerging technologies and platforms to drive reach and impact with new audiences
  • Interprets analytics and metrics to identify areas for optimization; develops recommendations for messaging and operational cost effectiveness
  • Works closely with legal to develop terms and conditions for sweepstakes or contests activated on social

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years digital marketing, social media or content planning and execution experience
  • Awareness of paid social and how it impacts organic is preferred
  • Experience working with agency preferred
  • Experience leveraging data to optimize digital programs on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Comprehensive understanding of social media marketing channels
  • Knowledge of online tracking and monitoring tools (like SimplyMeasured, Sprout Social, CoverSocial) and ability to search and find key content within social media (will be trained on advanced monitoring solutions for the brand)
  • Solutions-oriented action driver, comfortable bringing forward ideas and solutions to address key business challenges
  • Experience with Excel or analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics experience preferred
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback, work on multiple deadlines and manage high volume of creative assets
  • Strong copywriter/communicator with ability to flex voice and tone
  • Ability to think, plan and execute resourcefully, across multiple tasks
  • Based in Dallas/Ft. Worth area
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
