About the role
The Social Media + Community Coordinator for In Common will be responsible for delivering the brand message throughout the ecosystem of social and community content on all social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, twitter, YouTube). Partner with VP of Marketing to ensure brand look + feel, and messaging gets well-executed across social media and community channels.
Responsibilities
● Partner with Vice President of Marketing to understand goals for the business and how they translate to the social and community areas.
● Responsible for building out and managing the Ambassador program and community growth and engagement.
● Create a social media and content calendar for each channel, to weave the brand messaging through key moments and make sure the brand is always top of mind for the social media audience.
● Social media campaign ideation to have ownable moments unique to In Common that are specific to social media. Set the brand apart in an identifiable way.
● Create, organize and manage all assets + content and plan out the calendar in advance for team review. Leverage scheduling tools as desired.
● Write copy for all social media posts
● Create a framework and recommendations for an ambassador and influencer strategy, with support from the Marketing team. Help to manage ongoing influencer marketing programs.
● Handle ongoing community engagement (responding to DM’s and comments) and ambassador and influencer outreach.
● Track and share results + learnings and compare to company set goals.
Requirements
● 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce, tech, startups, marketing. Fashion / lifestyle experience is a plus.
● 1-3 years of social media + community management experience. Influencer marketing experience a plus.
● Must have a passion for social media as a channel, and 1:1 interaction with people.
● Ability to use both sides of the brain. Think creatively and be open to trying new things.
● Know when to ask for help.
● Must be action-oriented and able to get things done.
● Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
● Positive, curious attitude.
● Thinking outside of the box and building something new excites and motivates you.
