SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
The Social Media Manager develops social strategies to excite and build the Salt + Snow social channels, drive traffic, increase customer acquisition, and grow engagement and revenue. This critical role works closely with executives to translate business objectives into action and growth through content, story creation, and community management. The Social Media Manager reports to our Director of Marketing and is a master relationship builder with editors and online influencers, as well as internal and external key stakeholders and agencies. This person creates strategies to build value from social media and PR and measure and analyze it to drive business results. S/he thinks and acts strategically to plan initiatives and create with diligence, attention to detail, and passion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- In partnership with Salt + Snow stakeholders, create the social editorial calendar and schedule all social media posts – both editorial and product focused.
- Own presence across social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn; evaluate and create launch strategies for other channels that would be favorable for Salt + Snow.
- Build and engage the community, answer community questions, support Salt + Snow social media fans, and provide feedback to Salt + Snow team.
- Build social media properties in the US and then expand reach into international properties.
- Work with outside agencies to obtain customer acquisition targets and ROI through Salt + Snow’s social channels.
- Lead all social influencer programs, including long-term relationships, seasonal activation, and extensive micro-influencer program.
- Identify and develop relationships with key bloggers and online influencers (new and existing) to build brand relevance and gifting.
- Define social media KPIs and create monthly and quarterly social media learnings and insights. Present quarterly reports to management on social media performance with clear action plans.
- Drive social engagement and integration strategy across channels, presenting an integrated, relevant experience for users.
- Provide strategic leadership on use of social programs, budget, and resources within marketing.
