Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Social Media, the Senior Influencer Manager + Brand Partnerships will create and oversee the end-to-end operations of Veyl Ventures’ influencer and affiliate marketing programs. This includes developing and executing all strategic partnership initiatives, managing timelines and budgets, organizing briefs, and ensuring overall campaign success.
Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience developing and managing influencer campaigns, possess effective project management and reporting skills, and maintain a true love of cultivating genuine and lasting relationships with partners.
Essential Duties
- Grow the Veyl Ventures influencer and affiliate marketing programs into key brand and business drivers, with measurable impact across reach, impressions, traffic, and sales across priority markets for our direct-to-consumer and retail products.
- Build a profitable influencer program
- Continually identify and recruit new influencers and content creators for affiliate and/or brand ambassador programs based on content, engagement, sales performance, and other KPIs as determined by leadership.
- Provide ongoing training and support to creators, cultivate long-term partnerships, and develop unique incentives and promotions for those in the network.
- Maintain internal and external recordkeeping systems and regularly evaluate for better efficiency.
- Develop ongoing communication strategy regarding new campaign opportunities, affiliate performance, and re-engagement of inactive partners.
- Establish an internal standard of best practices and KPIs, including establishing influencer objectives, priorities, and processes consistent with brand/company goals.
- Monitor and report all influencer analytics regularly, including, but not limited to, revenue, clicks, impressions, swipe ups, etc.
- Effectively manage the established budget to meet business and financial goals — reporting monthly and quarterly targets.
- Negotiate, manage and execute all contracts with influencers, affiliates and content partners within established parameters.
- Manage day-to-day business, including approving commissions for affiliates and influencers, ensuring timely payment, and developing monthly/quarterly campaigns.
- Work cross-functionally with e-commerce, digital, social, and design teams to ensure partners’ content is on brand and aligned with business priorities.
- Identify and leverage key brand partnerships for co-branded social media campaigns and audience expansion.
- Manage the creation and execution of seasonal and gifted influencer programming that fuels consumer demand, engagement and conversion.
- Work with agencies and third-party vendors as needed.
- Work with operations to coordinate influencer deliveries and fulfillment.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or equivalent experience.
- Experience building a profitable influencer program
- 3+ years of demonstrated success in influencer marketing space, (preferably within the wellness industry), heavily focused on Instagram, TikTok & YouTube
- Prior experience with influencer whitelisting and executing and negotiating compliant contracts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices for influencer and affiliate marketing.
- Ability to keep workload organized, set priorities, and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly analytical with a love of numbers and critical thinking with proficiency in analytics and influencer reporting to inform business decisions.
- Ability to foster solid and authentic relationships.
- Effective research skills to stay current on industry trends.
- Deep knowledge of all major Social Media platforms (e.g., IG, FB, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
- Familiarity with influencer and affiliate tools such as AspireIQ, Uplfluence, Mavrck, Amazon, ShareASale, Commission Junction, etc.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Google Drive, G Suite, Slack, Monday.com, and Zoom.
- Genuine interest in health and wellness is desired.
- Experience working in a fully remote environment is a plus.
