Associate Vice President - PR
KWT Global wants you, a collaborative senior agency leader to join us an Associate Vice President. An AVP has strong strategic skills, a proven ability to generate creative ideas, and the grit and agility to manage complex accounts across a variety of accounts.
Our Corporate team works across an amazing portfolio of big name clients: Roku, Radisson, Cue Health, Lycra and Tilray to name a few!
Fully versed in the agency’s business terms and client contracts, an AVP has increasing level of responsibility related to running profitable accounts, mentoring midlevel and junior staff, and is actively involved in company culture. An AVP serves as the key strategic lead on accounts and seeks out and closes new business opportunities.
An Associate Vice President’s duties include:
Strategic Thinking, Planning, and Account Leadership
- High-level ability to think creatively and plan strategically, cross-functionally, and globally
- Confidently provide high-level corporate reputation and brand strategy guidance to senior client contacts
- Develop strategic communications programs that integrate the larger marketing mix
- Serve in a leadership role as a practice leader and client leader
- Develop budgets and business plans for practice areas
Agency Leadership
- Actively assist with recruiting efforts
- Demonstrate proven track record of managing, motivating and leading teams
- Understand experiences and incorporate them into successful business strategies
- Identify and lead professional development opportunities for staff
Business Development
- Generate and lead new business proposals
- Grow and develop existing business, and cross-sell services globally
Our ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, or related field
- 8+ years agency-based PR experience; must be socially and digitally savvy
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of financial aspects of the business and industry
- Able to motivate and lead teams
