As one of the fastest growing independent beauty brands, Pixi Beauty has built an incredible worldwide reputation and is quickly becoming one of the most recognized brands in the industry. Due to our continued success, we are expanding and looking for a Digital Community and Events Director to join our HQ team in Los Angeles.
Your Role
The successful candidate needs to have exceptional entrepreneurial drive, self-motivation, deep understanding of the beauty landscape and how to connect with customers across all digital channels.
You'll be responsible for supporting the rollout and implementation of our Influencer engagement and event strategy. A focus and deep understanding of the fast moving digital tastemaker, influencer and content creator community and how to effectively activate via events, gifting and PR send outs to grow awareness, loyalty and growth for Pixi and POPbeauty.
A marketer at-heart with down-to-earth execution capabilities and a passion for beauty! Proven track record of implementing B2C plans with customer data at the core, is a must. A love for data analysis is required.
Responsibilities
• Lead and implement the event strategy and developing and managing influencer marketing strategy for ambassador program.
• Propose, manage and Implement a calendar of regular influencer events creating synergies between markets for Pixi and POPbeauty.
• Lead and integrate US community and events teams to ensure eventing calendar alignment and event best practice sharing across regions.
• Brainstorming creative and innovative gifting and events strategies, researching the market, identifying event opportunities, and proposing new concepts for event execution
• Identifying, contacting and managing relationships with influencers, content creators and agencies if applicable.
• Manage Influencer database.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of digital community and eventing experience within the Beauty or Fashion Industry (must)
• A true passion for Beauty
• Proven track record of delivering strong ROI via activations
• Great interpersonal skills a must
• Ability to work to in fast-paced deadline driven environment, while maintaining a positive “can-do” attitude
• Ability to multitask across projects and brands
