We are seeking a Social Media Manager who will be a senior ambassador for our brand, responsible for all organic social media at Brooks Brothers.

What’s that mean? We’re looking for the right person to help us take our current identity, and our 203 years of history, and leveraging it with our customers and fans via our existing multi-channel social media presence (and imagining what we could do in the future, and how). This person has at least five years of relevant digital marketing experience.

You will be responsible for the development and execution of a social media strategy for a major global brand across multiple platforms and segmented by channel. You will also oversee what types of content we choose to share and use to engage our existing and future customers. This content includes brand content, product content, community content and content about our social purpose initiatives,

You’ll also come to us with industry awareness and know-how, ideas you’ve picked up (and are ready to execute on), and are ready to deploy sophisticated measurement across our social media marketing channels for the achievement of specific business goals.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Manage published content (images, video and written) through all social channels and develop a growth strategy.
  • Grow fans and followers by driving organic social programs and assisting with content initiatives for paid social as well
  • Influence our efforts to improve the customer experience through relevant and consistent messages.
  • Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts in partnership with Public Relations.
  • Compile reports for management to show community engagement and measure performance results (ROI).
  • Use data to gain insights to affect communications planning; monitor and analyze performance to measure impact.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure messaging is consistent with the overall Brooks Brothers culture and branding.
  • Monitor trends in social media channels, tools, and metrics and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase social media effectiveness.
  • Continue to refine our approach to ‘Social Care,’ how we engage directly with customers on social media
  • Work cross functionally with various stakeholders outside of the marketing team to make sure that key seasonal product messaging is incorporated into social calendars

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 5 Years of relevant social media/digital marketing experience
  • 3+ years with apparel and/or accessory company, preferably in luxury market
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Pinterest, Digg, Youtube, Twitter, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Knowledge of influencer ecosystem relevant to the apparel industry
  • Familiarity with Adobe editing tools such as Photoshop, Premiere or After Effects a plus
  • Strong editorial instincts
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build and maintain relationships
  • Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
