Associate Digital Marketing Analyst - Social Media (Remote)
The Associate Digital Marketing Analyst’s goal is to assist with the development and implementation of organic social media, paid/performance social media, and influencer marketing programs. This position will be responsible for executing on the Belk Social Media channels (ie. Facebook, Facebook Live, Instagram, Instagram Live, Pinterest, Snapchat, & TikTok) and implementing influencer marketing campaigns. This person will report to the Lead Digital Marketing Analyst of Social Media and collaborate with Digital Marketing, the Social Media Creative Team, Legal, and Merchandising as well as outside partners and vendors. This person must have incredible communication and organizational skills, and be able to adapt to ever-changing circumstances while managing good relationships.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (creative, merchandising, ecommerce etc.) to create social media content calendars based on company priorities
- Fill out paid and organic trackers with assets, copy, and links for upcoming posts/ads
- Schedule and publish organic social posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and other emerging channels
- Upload CRM lists into social channel UIs for Paid Ads
- QA ads manager ads and placement
- Manage requests for special projects or one-off requests for all social media
- Manage the Facebook shop by uploading relevant product and keeping up with relevant collections
- Brief and partner with both internal and external teams/agencies to align on promotional and brand awareness support on paid and organic social content
- Oversee and manage briefs pertaining to, but not limited to offer, copy, and/or creative changes
- Work with external influencer marketing agency to create influencer campaigns, including but not limited to filling out briefs based on campaign objectives outlined by Lead Digital Marketing Analyst.
- Attend daily/weekly planning meetings, capture creative feedback and/or strategy shifts.
- Serve as a community manager through social platforms by engaging with audiences and tagged UGC.
- Review and understand insights provided by internal and external teams/vendors and provide feedback. Adjust strategies accordingly with Lead Digital Marketing Analyst
- Keep up to date with current social media trends, provide insight to internal teams.
- Utilize social listening tools to better understand customer sentiments and how information can be used to improve strategies
Minimum Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent years of experience
- Specific Degree: Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related
- Specific work or project experience: Marketing in-house or agency, preferably Digital Marketing and/social marketing related experience is a plus
- Industry experience: Marketing
- 2+ years of experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft programs (PowerPoint, word).
